This was the perfect amount of info I wanted to know as a veteran sf3/sf4 player. this notecard-esque video is indeed precisely the contribution this community needs to get the gist of the character and adapt! Thank you for your unselfish dedication to UA-cam.
b hp is akuma's best anti air by far, it combos into oki and with vt1 you can air fb on the demon flip, then dp and cancel into CA, its easy, not needing a motion input and just a direction with a button and it can be safe on block if you misstime it
You can use all of them, it is up to the player to decide on what he prefers. In terms of game plan, you won't be using all these as much as a mk/mp xx red fireball.
Menat may be in the future, but we are looking at some of the most popular characters first. Also Menat is incredibly intricate! I'm not too sure we could fit her in 5 minutes!!!
He is a really strong character but has a set style of gameplay and some combos can be tough. Also having extremely low health makes it hard for new players as getting punished does so much damage!
@@FlightlessEsports thats the con i'm always willing to take. My fav is street fighter 3 thrid strike but im about to pick this up do you think i should get the pad or should i stick to controller?
@@ProdbyHway Honestly would recommend a controller initially, unless you have used a stick before then go for that. Most gamers have played on a controller before so are more familiar, along with its ease of access and use. In SFV there is very little in terms of difficultly so neither peripheral is better, comes down to the users preference.
Hopefully we will have quick gameplay guides soon on each character including Akuma. There are lots of similar things right now, but you mainly want to use mk and cr mp as your main pokes and combo confirms. Jump air fireball gives free pressure as it is really only beaten by ex moves. When 1 to 2 characters away, use mk/mp/crp xx red fireball(hcb + lp). If it knocks down, you get advantage and if it doesnt you are likely to not just punished.
Can you turn the AI healthbar to normal or auto-recover? I know everyone’s hp isn’t the same but it would be nice to have a general sense of the damage. Or put the damage number in the caption
I don't even play akuma I just wanted to thank you for making these great videos! They help out so much for new players like me!

Back HP is an anti-air too it can link into the demon flip punch but by itself it doesn’t give good oki but it works in a pinch

To think players like Tokido can do combos like this like it’s second nature is insane 😨😨😨
This video should have recieved more views.
More of these please.
We need a new one now...most these combos will not work now cause of the nerfs he got in his attack frames
Any Need an update on his 👋 new combo moves ?
Very little changed for akuma, apart from his side switch combos through vskill > kick xx light tatsu. This no longer sideswitches.
sagat next pls !
this combos works even today?
Most of the combos do! But there are a couple new combos through the latest update.
Ok soooo that's a big list of combos. which ones can I actually use in a live match?

Your videos are great. Do you maybe plan to make one about Menat?
