  • Hello lovely people here is the border for the corner to corner swatch made in a previous tutorial. It is basic and yet eye catching. Please note that yours truly forgot to show how to weave in those pesky ends at the end of the tutorial. So a following tutorial is going to be uploaded. Enjoy xx

    Thank you. I found the crab crochet stitch tutorial and have already watched it to refresh my memory. I worked out that I did not need to do a double crochet row and have nearly finished the crab stitch row. I enjoy your tutorials. Season’s greetings.

    I was thankful to find your tutorial on how to add onto the traditional border around the C2C; however, when I put 2 DC in each space it created a gap between them, which I can see was intentional on your part, but I didn't care for the look. So I added a stitch to the center post to fill it in and give it a more solid looking border. My intention is to continue growing the blanket and having a more defined top chain around the perimeter would be better to work with rather than reverting back to the Chain2 / Single Crochet after doing the row you demonstrated. Thank you for good clear instructions and good video quality.

    Thanks VERY much for this tutorial! I’m excited to try this, because your version has only two double crochet stitches in each chain space (second round), instead of the usual three (as in the case some other UA-cam tutorials). When I did three dc per chain space, it made the blanket edge too wavy. So I was wondering how much to reduce the stitch count in order to reduce the waviness -- and you’ve answered the question! Many thanks!

    Hi! I have used your method to add a border to my c2c rug. I am ready to add a crab stitch final row. I stopped with the treble row.
    Question: do I need a row of double crochet first and then do crab stitch row?
    The border looks really good in two colours. Really eye catching.

    • @WowCrochet
      @WowCrochet  5 років тому

      Hi Jean. Thanks for trying the border. 😊
      You should be able to do the crab stitch straight away. However if you are not sure just try half a row and lay your project flat. If it looks like it's pulling then you may need to work a row of single crochet. Hope this helps. Oh by the way I have a tutorial on the crab stitch if you are interested here's the link . Thanks again. 😁

    • @WowCrochet

      If you crochet tightly you may need to do three double crochets in each block instead of two. Then 1 double crochet, chain 2, double crochet in each corner.
