▶Craftsman Profile
Yoichi Negishi / Negishi Industry
Negishi Industry was founded in 1944 by a first-generation roofing craftsman who specialized in shrine and temple roofs. He established the company to produce horticultural metal goods using tinplate. In 1966, the second generation introduced the idea of applying techniques from Sendai to create copper, brass, and stainless steel watering cans, specifically designed for bonsai. He also proposed these to bonsai associations. Since then, Negishi Industry has specialized exclusively in the production of watering cans, dedicating itself to perfecting this craft.
▶Craftsman Passion
"We invigorate all plants with our watering cans, inheriting and preserving traditional craftsmanship."
Copper watering cans feature the antibacterial properties of copper, which make the water less susceptible to spoilage. The effect of copper ions dissolved in the water also promotes the growth of moss on bonsai. To prevent leaves and debris from entering while drawing room-temperature water from containers like rainwater jars, a mesh filter is attached to the spout. By extending the length of the watering can's spout, we provide a watering can that allows for controlled water pressure, ensuring a steady and uniform watering experience.

Product information
This is a professional-grade watering can used by bonsai artists. It is designed specifically for bonsai, with a handle that maintains balance even when at maximum capacity, allowing for large and precise watering. The copper watering can enhances plant growth through the antibacterial properties of copper, making water less prone to spoilage and benefiting plants with the effects of dissolved copper ions. A mesh filter is attached to the spout to prevent leaves and debris from entering when drawing room-temperature water from containers like rainwater jars. Extending the length of the watering can's spout allows for controlled water pressure, ensuring steady and uniform watering. Caution: As the watering can is made entirely of metal, it is susceptible to dents and scratches if dropped. Please handle with care when removing from the box or bag and during use.
*This product is basically made-to-order. Please allow 1-3 months from order to shipment.
beautiful
Beautiful work 😊
The watering can is made of copper, right?
This is a nice watering can that is carefully made.
I think the more we use it, the more interesting it becomes.
本人はそんなに難しい事してないのになって思ってると思うで👍👍👍
Un placer, gracias a usted. Saludos
i have never seen someone solder with what is essentially a hot hammer.
Awesome,Amazing
Piękne wykonanie
I've never seen anyone waste this much time and energy soldering copper 😵💫

You said that. You want a cookie or something?
Four hundred pounds? 😂
😊👍👏👏👏😉
Seen much better work on Moonshiners the show!
Let me guess : Luxury Watering Can Costs 1000 dollars like everything else I see on this channel.
When one understand the path of mastery, one realizes that whatever the price tag, it would still be cheap.
@@AbuTominagarubbish
This work was not great, so the cost is lower $850
@@memememe2674vagabundo
Why would anybody want nor need a high end watering pale!? People are really bad off now days.
why are you here?
Then stop watching UA-cam and go to work to make money.
because it’s not high end. just because they priced it high doesn’t make it high end
Any decent plumber in the world could solder better than that. Hell, I haven't soldered anything in decades and I could solder better than that. Dude needs a different line of work - like street sweeper.
And an intervention for his hoarding.
Wow, aren't you great. You do not seem to understand the point of why he does it this way. Any plumber and you and me would use an electric soldering iron. And probably get a quicker, easier result. But this craftsman uses an older traditional method of soldering. He is keeping history alive, and keeps these skills from getting lost. He does things the hard way, for the sake of tradition.
What tradition? I see machinery and modern chemicals being used@@Elwingish
@@wc3415 What if I tell you those same machinery have existed and been used in the industry for decades? Dude here really thought it's only "traditional" if people use bare hands and ninja magic.
Sorry, but I just see factory assembly work, same "skills" are required to assemble a cooker, a car and any number of household items.
assembly work is different than manufacturing/fabrication
most of the things on this channel are rip offs. or for rich people with no common sense
@@wc3415I disagree. It takes a lot of accumulated knowledge to do the work the man in the video is doing. You’re basically saying a skilled plumber or electrician is just a robot, and giving no respect the art and work that they do within their profession. Same goes for this guy. The processes may be basic and formulaic (and I even disagree there), but the skills to do the things required and at a high level is absolutely hard to achieve and worthy of being called highly skilled work.
I'm saying its overpriced for the amount of skill/labor and quality of the product@@Spaceman_spliff
@@superjojo555 You must be blind then, if not blind by sight, blind by way of your mind apparently not being able to see anything in front of it. Go spend a day in this guys shop, heck a month in this guys shop trying to make one of these, and then come back and tell me that this is unskilled assembly work. The man is a skilled metal craftsperson, through and through.
