But such armor was a complete luxury, and could only protect against worthless steel and worthless katanas, and even then - extremely poorly. This technology was used for the armor of military leaders who never entered into battle, but led the battle from afar. Real fighters used rawhide armor with wood inserts, which was affordable for ordinary people (as opposed to incredibly expensive metal).
WOW! Echt toll! 👑
I was lucky enough to purchase one of these. Mostly due to the absolutely amazing craftsmanship on display. It really looks like you could wear it, nothing was skipped or short cutting. Now l see why it attracted me. Just need a bow, Katana, and Wakazashi made just as well, and to scale. Next trip to Japan.
Such beauty created through a group of craftsmen and women. Very impressive to see all the hand made tools and metal shaping devices, I've visited cultural centers to see full sized armor , such pieces would be excellent art to have on display, It is so nice to see the craft being passed to younger generations also, Thank you for your time and efforts bringing these VLOGS to format for all to enjoy!!!.
But you are making a “survivor’s mistake” - the armor that has survived to this day is that which was not used in battle, that is, either decorations in the houses of noble people, or the armor of military leaders who sat deep in the rear, controlling battles from afar.
@deadcxap755 the beautiful thing about the inter web is we can all voice an opinion. Even though these pieces were not used in combat, They are still visually pleasing.
The only country in the world where tradition and extraordinary traditional skills will always remain in the culture of the samurai and Japanese peoples. 🫡💖🇬🇧
Incredible craftsmanship as he hand pounded each tiny rivet. I also love that he is wearing traditional clothing. I wish that you could add a quick shop tour at the end of the videos.
a number of artists hours go into a small version, these are not some cheep toy, it's made with tradition and honor, and could be shown as an exemplar of the larger piece. Thank You for the show.
Blessings 🙏 from the U.S. 🇺🇸 your craftsmanship is remarkable & amazing love your Culture & the ways of the Samurai these collectables are awesome never seen anything like it your video put me at ease masterful work 🙏
Hermoso...
I know that the Japanese are used to sitting on their legs or sitting crisscrossed, for long durations, for just about anything and everything. But for people like me, I can’t sit in those positions for too long, without cutting off the circulation and leading to my legs falling asleep. How the Japanese do it, I’ll never know. Still, it’s quite impressive how they can sit in those positions and get through the day (school or work) as if it was normal.
Two questions, the decorations on the armors they were different depending on the clan he belongs to? how heavy can armor get? In France I can try 1 quarter of armor and we can feel that it's heavy so we can't fight so long time.
Personaly i think, watching japanese craftsmen at work is one of the most satisfying things in the world.
lá ele pae
I have literally watched every NARUTO episode and I know I am a samurai at heart!!!
Japanese artistry at its finest. So fascinating.
I love the Japanese so much. Everything they make, they do with patience and beauty.
MARAVILHOSO!!!
Can you tell me the price?
How much you buy from japan?

OK 🇯🇵👍.
And this is why I love Japan. The dedication to craft is so satisfying to watch. Thank you for the insights into the techniques.
Craftsmen and artists all in one. Simply beautiful creation !
Mistrzostwo świata w zachowaniu wysokiej jakości i tradycji!!!!!!!🤗👍👌💪
The sheer level of detail work that went into those suits would make any craftsman across the world proud.

What else can be said but stunningly beautiful!. All the craftsmen excel at the skills they show.
Wow, this is amazing! I can't imagine dealing with such tiny pieces all the time and having it come out so perfect!
Outstanding workmanship of a beautiful artform!
Que obra de arte magnífica! Parabéns ao mestre e sua equipe! 👏👏👏

Armor is attractive! It is a wonderful process!

Nice video.
The armor looks very nice.
This was metal art at its finest!
The only country in the world where tradition and extraordinary traditional skills will always remain in the culture of the samurai and Japanese peoples. 🫡💖🇬🇧
I think so 🫡
Masterful work on a small scale and very beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sugoi! Amazing craftsmanship. Fascinating stuff. 👍
Perfeição, dedicação, talento, qualidade excepcional e arte, pura e belíssima arte!!! Parabéns!!!
these pieces are wonderful
Its a very beautiful craft. I can only imagine what it was like back in the day seeing masters craft the full size sets of armor.
That one stump must’ve been used for many generations
Me encanta tu cultura ❤
I just finished Shogun, so now I'm fascinated by the armor. 🤓
Gosaku's armor :) Amazing craftmanship. Respect to all those who can live and wants to live from manufacture in these mass production time.
Du grand Art!!! ❤
Absolutely fantastic
Amazing work.
Somehow till shortly before the end of the video I was still expecting a full size armor 🤨
Wonderfull craftsmanship art and dedication.
All the best😊😊😊😊.
Its for a puppet! Tell that in the discription please!
Que preciosidad, eso es verdadero arte.

Büyük Sabır, Büyük Emek, Çokça Yetenek ve İşini Sevmek Gerek... Harikasınız, Büyük Ustalar..... 💐
This is armor for a doll. Imagine how much work went into a suit of armor made for a human, and how many samurai needed armor.
Process of making a small decoration of a set of armor. This is not real Samurai armor. It is a souvenir for tourists. Look nice sitting on a shelf.
Beautiful Work. The amazing art.
wow so nice !!
Woahooo que trabajo tan hermoso
Hermoso...
Amazing.
The best
👍

I wish this video was longer so I could see more details. I'd love to know how the pattern on the (brass?) Headpiece was done
Wow it would be cool tohave one of those in my room

It varies person to person but having a tradition of sitting on floors since childhood helps a lot. You can try to train it though.
I'm impressed this is so cool
Magnifique !
Two questions, the decorations on the armors they were different depending on the clan he belongs to?
how heavy can armor get?
In France I can try 1 quarter of armor and we can feel that it's heavy so we can't fight so long time.
Absolutely beautiful, such skill,...
Beautiful work💖💖👍🏻👍🏻
And that's why they are high valued. Lots of hours to make just one
Handwerk in Perfektion 👍🇯🇵
