Excellent entry,Beast. No Sleep is an absolute banger. Mental Funeral, also a banger. Saw The Almighty live quite a few times, back in the day. I think I still prefer thier first album, Blood,Fire and Love. Agree with you about collecting these days, agree with Kris as well. Good luck in the contest, buddy. 🤘🍻
Nice one Sean. For once Ive actually heard all the albums youve picked here mate haha! Ive played em all this year at some point apart from Control Denied which I dont own. Was never massive into Scum and From Enslavement... by ND back in the early 90s, I preferred the Suffer the Children & Mass Appeal Madness EPs and Utopia Banished at the time. The Motorhead, DRI, The Almighty and Autopsy records are belters. Great picks, good luck Beast!
Hi Sean!! Great entry to Kris' contest and cool choices too...... i think i agree very much with your two "gripes" about music colecting, the VC is making lots of people poor, but in good way, lol.......The Almighty is one band i still need to listen, for some reason they passed me by back in the day. I'm not a big death metal fan, but when i listen for the first time Control Denied o really like it very much!!! cheers and be well
Excellent video Sean..that DRI is a banger …great picks Mate I’m with you on the VC, wish they’d stop showing albums 😂 Great Entry Sean , Good luck in Kris’s giveaway 🤘
Great entry Sean. It's not easy to remember exactly what and when. Motörhead was a early band for me. And sorry for showing to much good stuff, I guess we all suffer there my mate. Best of luck. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Awesome entry to Kris' contest Sean! Motorhead are such an important band, they shaped so many people's music taste and creativity. I need to check out some D.R.I. as I've neglected them. I remember not being blown away by Mental Funeral, there's a lot of slow parts which I guess is why it gets it's Death-Doom tag. I've never been interested to check out the Control Denied album, I haven't even heard The Sound of Perseverance! Napalm Death are another band I've never given any time to, but I am willing to give them a go. I fully agree, the VC is making everyone power hungry to get everything they can! I can't lie, it's even happening to me! Best of luck in the draw mate 😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
@seanbeast939 Yeah, I've just not gotten to it yet. I only started listening to Death in 2021/22, so even they're pretty new to me! I will get to Control Denied one day I'm sure. You're welcome mate ☺️🤘🏻
Great entry, Seany Lad! Can't say I've ever spent much time with either D.R.I. or The Almighty, but obviously, I'm well aware of their legendsry status! Interesting that one of your 2 most important albums is a live album - one of mine is too, even though I'm not generally that arsed about them most of ths time, tbh. As for your first gripe, you are one of the absolute WORST offenders! 😜 Good luck in the draw, mate. Cheers! 🤘
Great entry Sean some fantastic picks, I nearly showed that DRI album in my last vid. I have the same gripes as you when it comes to collecting. Good luck in the draw. Absolutely love The Almighty BTW. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Good luck in the draw Sean. I still haven't heard that DRI album. Probably the wrong side of Crossover for my ears. Motorhead is great but live albums are definitely redundant for me these days. I was smiling when you mentioned The Almighty. The played everywhere. It was harder to avoid them back then. Powertrippin is my fave from them but that ones good you showed.
Hahaha, yeah, the Almighty certainly put their time in on stage. I'm not the biggest fan of live albums, but Lemmy & the boys always rate highly. I look forward to watching your entry, Mike 🤘
Steong entry here sir!!! DRI in Woolies blew my mind, amazing album too. That live Motörhead album is npworth it just for when Lemmy shouts "JUST IN CASE'" before the last eponymous track! So fucking killer. Never bothered with The Almighty, I lumped them in with pish like The Black Crows, rightly or wrongly! That Napalm is my joint first place Grind album. Curious ehat slbums you have that are more Grind than that- I Still think the opening song is the best song on it and pne of their best. Good luck in the contest Sean!!
FUCKIN 🤘👹💀👹🤘 Very nice that your recommending another fellas channel. My 1st MOTORHEAD album was NO REMORSE. D.R.I.??? Your shitting me. I bought that when it was just released back in the day. Still listen to it nowadays and I still wonder how the fuck did he sing that fast? You buying that album when you were a kid proves to me that although America & England may be 2 countries seperated by a common language... we've got something more important in common ~ THE METAL. Your channel is like hanging around my friends in the sense that 98% of the time all we talk about is music and it never gets old. I'd be curious. Do you reckon that metal would be where it is if there was never any metal being made in & coming out of England back in the day? No MAIDEN, no MOTORHEAD, no SAXON, no metal. Just a steady drip of Duran Duran & Culture Club etc. Would METAL be the same without you lot? What say you? Cheers from the States 🍻🍻🎶🎶🍻🍻
Hahaha it's all about promoting music and hoping to let people discover stuff they might not have heard. As for metal in the UK and it's global appeal, it would be difficult to imagine how different the music scene would have been without Iommi, Lemmy, Halford etc. Cheers for watching, dude 🤘
@@seanbeast939 I agree and I wouldn't want to live in a world without those and so many other bands. British metal is a huge chunk of the soundtrack for my long, strange trip. 🍻🍻🎶🎶🍻🍻

Excellent picks here Sean. Really enjoyed your answers to the questions mate. Good luck in the contest mate 👍

Great entry Sean… & absolutely no arguments whatsoever with ‘Mental Funeral’… probably the best 2nd album ever made. Good luck my friend🤘🏻
