- This is a video I recorded with my camera of the national recording band known as "Device" performing the song "Close My Eyes Forever" at the 2013 Carolina Rebellion with a special guest appearance by Lzzy Hale of "Halestorm" in a crowd of 50,000+ people in attendance. This is one of the very first times if not THE FIRST time that both Lzzy and David performed this song LIVE together in front of a live crowd.

i love how Lzzy sings along even when it's not her part. Shows she's really into it.
Nope it's how the songs written.
David Draiman rewrote the song to include her more than the original song included Lita Ford.
David and Lzzy on one stage... my dream in metal came true.
NoL Chefo It's too bad that metal isn't known for it's duets, Draiman and Lzzy look and sound like they have great working chemistry.

I just love how their voices sound exactly the same as the studio production album stuff. Always nice to find genuine artists that do little to no studio masking on their voices

I don't care what all you haters say on here this is very well done. Davids voice is always epic and Lzzy is no Lita but I think she's pulled it off. I have always loved the original and will continue to love it however I will definitely be listening to this version a lot now.

For a bad video the audio's not to bad....I think they sound great together. Very good blend of voices. Lzzy is so awesome I just love her on stag present and amazing voice. Disturbed has lot of great songs He also has an awesome voice an octave range like lzzy . Two Great Rockers

Dear lord this hiatus has worked wonders on his voice. Look back to Disturbed Rock Am Ring show from 2008 (on UA-cam) he's gotten so much better live
i think its the fact that its a smaller venue and it sounds clearer. i happen to think that 8 out of 10 he sounds a lot like the album.

OK, as a guy who likes a lot of different music (as Im sure y'all do), but mostly hard rock/metal....i am pretty ashamed i never gave Halestorm a moment of thought. fuck, man, she has a beautiful voice here. i always thought david had a fantastic voice, of course....this is really an amazing duet here. i have to check out halestorm - i just never heard any of their stuff, and was never curious about it.
Halestorm ROCKS!!! Lzzy has an amazing voice, I think she has pone of the most powerful femal voices in rock music.
+jas22 I saw Halestorm about less than 6 months ago and Disturbed just a little over a month ago , They are both excellent bands live !
not just in the "female voices," but plain and simple VOICES. Both have great command of their instruments!

I used to have a camera like this. The older camera's didn't have image stablization in them and when you zoomed in the picture shook like this.

David Draiman is awesome i would consider him one of the best vocalist ever, Device and Disturbed are both amazing i hope disturbed comes back tho fun times XD

Damn they both have good rock voices. The lead singer Disturbed, next to Lzzy, makes me realize kinda how Demonic this mans vocals can sound, especially with his growl when he holds it. I really like it. There's quite a bit of bass and mid range more going throw his voice mic compared to Lzzy though. He sounds great. They could of turned her mic up more, it seemed a bit low compared to his, unless she was fine with it. Cool upload.
