Even if one stays at home without having to go to work... I found out, that it`s impossible to keep everything clean 24/7. You finally come to one end and you have to begin at the beginning. Sometimes it`s driving me crazy. No one notices when everything is in order, but everybody does, when it`s not...

Real life, not the normal...its ok 4 every now and then, but noway should be norm...
personally i would keep the pets biscuits in the "pet zone". On one of the shelves above the dog crate. It also keeps it seperate from the rest of the kitchen and food.
Excellent job for the first pass. It looked as though most of it was just dirty dishes that needed to be loaded in the dishwasher. I don't see filth, I just see "lived in". Your granite counter tops are gorgeous.

Pretty kitchen. Like everything in it, cupboards, granite countertops, paint color, stained glass lamp, etc..
I have one big lazy susan under the sink that holds all my cleaners etc. I love it because you can see everything and grab what you need quickly and nothing gets lost in the back. 😊

You are not afraid to let others see your house messy! I always have some kind of dirt somewhere and I am happy to know I am not alone. Only my house does not sparkle like yours when done. It is always a work in progress.
I don't know about you, but we do not have any a/c at all. Just a few puny fans to push the hot air around. I hope you are drinking and taking breaks. I, myself ended up at the Dr.s from not sleeping and the high heat. His advice just go buy an a/c! Nope, not in the budget, I wold rather eat. hopefully some cooler temps will arrive and make us all a bit more comfy.
I do not like to complain about heat, as I absolutist hate winter!

the ACs we have are kind of tiny and they pretty much have to run all day. this year we re saving for the trip to France so that extra $300 will be needed. It s not bad at night, just in the afternoon when one is running around like a maniac in cleaning frenzy mode

Sophia, I do not know why I struggle keeping my house tidy. But, I do know that your channel has helped inspire me to not surrender.I am a work in progress and that is just how it is! And I am very glad you are safe and sound and prayers to France and her people.

OMG, I was laughing so at the beagle!!!! (I don't know how to say his name). Every time you were near anything that is anyway related to food.......THERE HE WAS!!!! Licking the dishes (I almost fell off my chair laughing), you pulled out the trash.....THERE HE WAS!!! , you cleaned the stove....THERE HE WAS!!!! But that's a beagle for you. We had one and they are the most wonderful dogs in the world. It warms my heart to watch yours plus he is entertaining. LOL Thanx so much for sharing him with us. Sophia.....like I've said before....you are not alone.....I really believe that is the life of a full time working mother and wife....its hard when you work outside the house full time...especially when you spend a long time traveling back and forth from work. I just deeped clean our bedroom yesterday....then took my mom and sister shopping....which took 5hrs....today I golfed from 6:45am and didn't get home until 2:45pm. Now Im trying to eat and relax but I need to throw another load of laundry into the washer....Im tired.....thanks for sharing Sophia....

Sophia - LOVE your channel (new subscriber here). You speak for so many of us! The one thing I have learned to do is to re-set my kitchen counter/sink EVERY night without fail. The rest of the house may be a disaster (and often is) but that is the one thing that gets done. I think that may be a flylady routine and if it is, it's a great one. I don't follow the flylady but I picked that one up. A cup of coffee in the morning looking out the window over a clean sink...peaceful.

You can get a storage ottoman for your desk/file items and get rid of basket. Plus you will have an extra seat with the ottoman!

I wish I could give you a hundred thumbs up. You are so inspiring. Please don't beat yourself up so much. I haven't cleaned behind my fridge since we moved in either and that was eight years ago! I'm afraid of spiders and what might be lurking back there😉. Hot spots are like holes in a leaky boat. As soon as you take care of one, another pops up somewhere else. I have the same problem with pet hair as you do. As soon as I clean/vacuum the floor, it's covered again. Good thing we love our animals so much.
