- I walk through Florida's Clearwater Beach during Spring Break. It was great to see everyone out and about enjoying themselves on the beach and at the attractions.

"Clearwater Beach includes a resort area and a residential area on the Gulf of Mexico in Pinellas County on the west central coast of Florida. Located just west over the Intracoastal Waterway by way of the Clearwater Memorial Causeway from the city of Clearwater, Florida, of which it is part, Clearwater Beach is at a geographic latitude of 27.57 N and longitude 82.48 W.
Clearwater Beach is characterized by white sand beaches stretching for 2.5 miles (4 km) along the Gulf and sits on a barrier island. It has a full marina on the Intracoastal Waterway side and is linked on the south by a short bridge to another barrier island called Sand Key, where Sand Key Park is located.
The area offers shopping, restaurants, and activities such as parasailing, jet ski rentals, boat tours (with a common sighting of dolphins in the Gulf waters), miniature golf, fishing charters, and "pirate ship" cruises.
Clearwater has frequently been ranked one of the best beaches in the United States. Its Sandpearl resort was named one of the best beach resorts in the U.S. In January 2013, Clearwater Beach was awarded the designation of Florida's Best Beach Town by a USA Today reader poll ranking 10 Florida beach destinations. In February 2019, Clearwater Beach was named the best beach in the United States and sixth-best in the world by TripAdvisor."

Thanks for the excellent walk. I used to visit this beach when I was a kid back in 1968 to 1971. Great memories and the best memories. In Washington State now, Florida will always hold the best memories for me.

I am from the UK. And although we have crowded beaches in our crappie summer, I can say, I've not been on a holiday since 1992/3.Being disable takes away most of your options and being single leaves you with just your own support, scary prospect. I lived in my van on this beach for months. Some great memories. I’d take a bathe at the put put golf bathroom lol. The beach at night is gorgeous.

The Action Kid enjoying an early afternoon 🚶 before the spring breakers overun the city ! They rock & roll all night & party everyday but the AK is an early riser.
Ahhhh I remember being there back in 2016 with my fam. Best time ever! Since I personally can't stand the heat & humidity ~ I would love to be there right now. I think March & the 1st week of April are the best times for me to fully enjoy the beach/scene so as to avoid the summer heat/humidity. You are right; there is a particular smell at Clearwater- not fishy; just different-pleasant. Another thing that I found different is the sand ~ felt so soft in my toes & hands & looked like sugar. Now I feel nostalgia! Thanks for sharing this... especially since some of us can't travel right now & beaches in many cities are still off limits. Enjoy & Be Safe👍🏼

Came a few years ago and stayed at the beachview at 23:57. When you live up north coming here for a week during the brutal winter around February/March is 100% worth it!

I've walked this walk a few times and love it. My wife is from Tampa. I'm from Alabama. She brought me to Clearwater Beach a few years ago and we've come back because it's just magical.
I'm a born and raised New Yorker now living in Los Angeles about 14 years. I finally got to visit Florida for the first time in early May 2021. Rather than hit Miami, we wanted a place less pretentious and with beaches that were just as good. Man it was hot at times but I know the summer can be WAY worse! Stayed in Dunedin which is about 7 miles north and a lot more quiet. Clearwater beach was nice although parking was kind of a pain and yes so was that round about. I can vouch for the dolphin tour. My lady and I loved it! I can also vouch for Crabby's shown in this video. We had some good food, (gater bites yum) great beer and friendly staff. If you like seafood, Grouper fish is the local popular one, especially the Grouper Sandwich. Thanks for posting this video. It brinks back pleasant flashbacks.

My wife and I will be staying at the Sandpearl resort in September. We'll be visiting Clearwater beach for the first time. It's nice to see the area from this viewpoint on video and compare it to all of the maps that I've been looking at lately! Thank you very much for this! It certainly is a beautiful beach. Growing up in Queens, NYC, we used to go to rockaway beach by subway, 15 cents. Nice, but not as nice as this beach.

Did you go? I know of a free public beach with almost no "tourist" with free parking on clear water about 20 min away from the main action. Private peaceful beach enjoyment

Of all the places you visited, Clearwater Beach is my favorite ! I've never been to Florida but I'm saving up some dough to visit Florida next winter! The beautiful beaches, cities , parks, marina's sure beats a Brooklyn winter ❄️ ❇️ 🌷❄️
About an hour south of Clearwater is Siesta Beach on the island Siesta Key in Sarasota, look it up also a very unique beach you might want to visit.
Lots of beautiful beaches from Clearwater to St. Pete Beach. You won't be sorry going to any one of them. Beautiful Gulf beaches in Pinellas County. Farther south, Anna Maria, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Sarasota, all gorgeous too. Manatee County. Go, you won't be sorry.

I visited Clearwater a few times for work. It hasn't changed much, but I looked up the person that I would visit and it turns out he did in a tragic accident , bummer. I have some fun memories of the place. I remember having lunch at the Sand Pearl resort, dressed up in a suit for work and i was the only on in town dressed like that

One of the nicest beaches in Florida! The fee on the pier keeps the end mostly for serious fishing. You're spot on about walking up to the gate being far enough for just viewing. I always liked how Clearwater Beach sand is always cool on your feet on even the hottest of days. Yes, Florida east coast for waves and west coast for sunsets. I'm glad you discovered Frenchy's. There are 3, I always like Frenchy's Rockaway for the beach volleyball and blackened tuna sandwich. I'm glad you're in Florida as I've enjoyed your NYC vids.
I've been going to the original Frenchy's on Mandalay for over 30 years, and never realized they had a place right on the beach. LOL. I llke the funky feel of the old dive. When you get to Mandalay - turn right, ,not left, to go to original pub. Grouper Reuben mmmmmm.

Thanks for the video. A big difference with U.S. beaches compared to overseas is that we use more furniture and tents/umbrellas.
