-- Oh, man! What a treat! Even my wife, who was passing by and saw this video - said how much she miss New Hampshire and Maine... Also that Volvo 850 wagon and trailer was something else, good outside the box thinking of your friend from Nederlands. And of course Limbo was amazing! Good job Zach! Its a good video to start a weekend. Thank you!
You guys have so much fun! I love seeing it, love seeing people out enjoying the hobby and even a few spectators every now and then. Great stuff as always guys!
I had a couple or three of the OG nitro twin stars. Even with .25LA engines single engine air work was doable. Even taking off on one engine was possible from pavement. Climb out was anemic but it was fine. They weren’t as fun as you’d think so the single engine airwork was the only challenge that made them fun. They weren’t fast, they were less aerobatically capable than a single engine trainer and they were too heavy for 40 size floats. But they looked cool and always got attention.
we have a vampire like this at our field. actually we used to have like 5 of them. ours is the only one still alive. i once ripped a wing out of it when i pulled up too hard. and we broke the aft fuselage connectors like 3 times... it still flies.
Differential can be done with any ESC with transmitter programming - reverse is depending on the ESC brand. Some use proprietary software to do it (Spektrum) - some use an additional signal wire that you tie to a different channel on a two-position switch to go into reverse. The ESC's we have use the wire. They are badass rebel ESCs.
Good luck, when I got my license I didn’t know about it, the instructor didn’t say anything and watched me flying my first plane, he was like ‘all right here’s your license’ 😂
This was another great fun video. Well the destruction part was a bit painful to watch, but I guess those models you were jumping on were anyway ready to throw away! Hats off for the great Jet-Ranger helicopter flight! Very smooth landing! You guys are really having great ideas and the LOW FLIGHT challenge with Didier showed how talented you are!! Waiting for more great videos! Thanks!
When one ESC shut down on my Partenavia P68 shut down on finals it was an instant spin into the ground. So I guess you are a far better pilot than me, how did you do it?
Airspeed is critical while paired with cross control (rudder to counteract the asymmetric thrust paired with opposite aileron to keep the wing level). Like you saw in the video, if you get too slow with one motor running even with cross control, the plane eventually loses directional control and will roll over on its back as it tries to fight the asymmetric thrust but no longer can.
Fly out to Nashua (ASH)! Haven't chatted with you since the first ACCA's. Doubt you'd remember me as I was there with my older full-scale channel at the time. Long story short...I no longer do full scale videos really. RC is just a chiller audience. 😁 Hit us up if you're ever around on a trip! -Zach
4:10 finally ur learning how to flitetest (they put differential on all of their twins and then spin them where ever they can) (this includes a fricking GIANT FOAMBOARD TANK WITH WINGS)
I love your attitude, just be aware that the destructive bits can offend those of us who grew up with a winter's worth of balsa scratch building for each inevitable beginner's crash. Although a lot can be said for respecting your craft, I do recognize that a lot can be said for disrespecting it as well, as long as it's unmanned. Food for thought, so thank you for that!

I now cannot get the song white limbo out of my head except it’s now jet limbo, great video though.
I love the car with the matching trailer. It looks like an extended hearse. You can pack a body and a half in there 😂
tow the glider with the quad🤣🔥🔥
Nice video guys ❤
Another very fun installment fellas looking forward in seeing more videos of your trip to Seattle indeed👍👍😎😎👍👍
Congrats on 50k 😮
I can barely steer a 1s park flyer on beginner mode around. So I watch you guys crashing planes instead. 😂
Me and my wife flew in ZK-CFL down in New Zealand - what an amazing experience!
That was fun to watch. 👍
I love your content
Twin motor with differential thrust is lots of fun. My little Ultrix is a tiny flat disc of flying hilarity.
I'm here for Bailey! Such a good doggo! The video was lots of fun. Thanks for the endless entertainment.
Raining buckets here this morning ... but my weekend is saved,.. vicariously logging point 3 flight hours in my log book ☺

We got like 12 of those at our club haha
LETS GO 🔥
great video 👍
My Corsair crashed :( the balsa plane literally exploded on impact
What ESCs did you guys use to set up the differential/reverse thrust?

Commenting this from ASF 🎉🫡
Nice!
5:40 mabe u could make a system so that at 0 thrust with diferential on, adding differential reverses one motor so u stay technically gliding.
4:12 That is awesome the Twin Star can fly on one motor 🔥
I can’t believe the struts on ur 170 are still in tack 😅 mine broke off from too many Gs on the first 3 flights 😂
What camera are you guys using on the planes😀
Im getting ready to get my rc licence tomorrow wish me luck 😅
Im wishig you luck😊
Thanks
Good luck, when I got my license I didn’t know about it, the instructor didn’t say anything and watched me flying my first plane, he was like ‘all right here’s your license’ 😂
RC license? Just send it! No license required.
@@TailHeavyProductions he’s dutch so am I, it’s quite hard to legally fly a plane here…

Real
Hopefully the Twinstar doesn't end up in an accidental throttle cut like the RV-8 did 💀
what was your two's first RC airplane?
Parkzone Cessna 210 Centurion for me. Not sure on Ben. -Zach
whats the name of the twin-tail edf?
it looks like a p-38 on crack and i NEED it
Maybe a De Haviland Vampire? Edit: 20:15 they do call it "Vampire"
What camera do you put in the airplanes?

i just got my FAA registration!
Looks like a good time was had. I think everyone needs a little Didier in their life.
KYE O WAH
One of your best videos yet, nice, that was so much fun, thanks for the video. So cool.
Did you get the twin star at Branford hobbies? They still had one new in the box when I was there last winter.
No sir
I didn't fall in the ditch my landing on the other side just wasn't smooth LOL
waren dat bramenstruiken?
7:16 laughing my backside off
Flat spin, "talk to me Goose"...........
4:10 finally ur learning how to flitetest (they put differential on all of their twins and then spin them where ever they can) (this includes a fricking GIANT FOAMBOARD TANK WITH WINGS)
remember, if you throw Zach, be sure you strap his battery down first. Don't want him to end up in the blackberries. Oh wait, he already did...
Love this channel

Whenever this is!
Meant to make a post instead of a reply. My bad for the mistake.
What is a good starter plane?
please don’t say a FULL SCALE A-10

Can't please everyone.
@@TailHeavyProductions But you do!
Flying in the pitts , behind the flight line, would get you banned at my club. We cant have fun.

Smiled all the way though. Thanks.

Bro no license needed for me just be slick ab it
Watch audio levels
The start was annoying
Some have ear phones ….
I like MY antique Prometheus! But the aluminum LG sucks on grass!
Editing is getting lazy! I'm bored 🥱
Why destroy planes by jumping on then or using a pick this action makes me sick to my stomach I just don't understand
