Lena asked me what my favorite song by Infected Rain was when I was lucky enough to meet the band during VIP on their first US tour and I didn't realize this was the answer yet. My soul is nourished by this song. The lyrics are powerful, the composition is beautiful, her vocals reach another realm. I think IR is fast becoming my favorite band. So glad I found them on a random UA-cam recommendation.

I've been listening to this cast the passed couple years and y'all keeping me sane. I saw that you play the New York/ New Jersey, USA recently with Butcher Babies for the Goliath tour. I was not able to attend because I have a 2-month newborn baby named Mylo! And the COVID pandemic still exists, and so I just protect him! You are a huge inspiration to my life and this song hit me deep with my love of Mother Earth. 🌍🌎. I hope to see you in concert when the time is right and hopefully with my son, another warrior for the world 🌎🌍

In the beginning I was hoping for the rest of the band being included in the video in similar outfit/makeup, but I'm glad you went for this! Now it's not Lena or the singer or something, but really a role. A beautiful, so diversely debatable one.
The sound of the song reminds me a lot of orphan soul - which was my favourite song of yours - but you've grown a lot even since then. This is even more deeply complex and artistically constructed! I love all the varying different genre influences... Well and the diversity in tempo and dynamic...!

It's a good song, but deffinitely not one of Infected Rain's bests. You should check out Passerby or Orphan Soul. Those two are killer tracks.

This was the first video I checked and I'm already sold.

@Fred Ragers VII Not bad, not bat at all! Its like Arch Enemy and Dimmu Bogir had a child (just without the symphonic tunes from Dimmu). If you do not already know them, check out SepticFlesh. Those guys did some very awesome symphonic horror death metal for the genre on their Communion album and onward! If you are by any chance an H.P. Lovecraft fan, you will appreciate it! :)

No truer words were ever spoken. This song is so moving, we are a parasitic species that consumes it's host, and we are completely aware of this but don't stop. The line, "like cancer we spread it's lethal", makes me tear up every time I hear it. That is what I love about metal, the ability to be dark, and truthful, you would never hear that in a pop song.

I came to know them by Black Gold when it was played in Radio BOB's hardest channel...was directly taking my full attention. Then I wanted to know more and now, after a short time, I heard and saw quite a lot but just a few....she's of course at the front and quite an interesting character. Stoked!

@@fozy011 The reason she doesn't do those growls as much now is because it was damaging her voice. She said in an interview that sometimes after a whole set she would have blood coming from her throat.
