Hi Tina! Optometrist from the US here 👋🏽 The reason the contact lens removal tiktok can be hard to do for Asian eyes is due to the anatomy of most Asian eyelids 😅 Our eyelids tend to have tighter epicanthal(nasal) folds making it hard for the eyelid margin to release the suction of the contact lens on the eye
Is it the same for protruding eyes? I would think it would be easier to remove my contacts but I can NEVER get the contacts out with this trick. I remember the first night I had my contacts in I wasn't comfortable with touching my eyes and I tried so hard to do the "easy" technique...legend has it I had to actually touch my eye lol
Hi Tina! I used to roll ice on my face a few years ago but my dermatologist told me to not put ice directly on your skin because it can cause broken capillaries and ice burns. She suggested to put the ice in a ziploc bag or in a tissue before putting it on your face.
Yep, even those gel ice pack things warn about the same thing at least telling us to wrap it before applying to skin but who reads instructions am I right? :' )
I have chronic pain and skin allergies so I use ice packs on my body and face - I can strongly recommend the gel packs if you just put them in the fridge and don't freeze them, so they're cold but not freezing! Especially if you wrap them in a tea towel if it's going near your face (from someone with some lil burst capillary marks under her eyes 🥲)
I’ve also heard people using metal spoons if they don’t have those special steel rollers. Stick it in the freezer overnight and it’s ready to use in the morning!
I’ve been doing the eyelash hack for YEARS. I have smaller deep set almond eyes and it really helps open them up. I will say I’ve never been that precise about putting the last band on the top of the liner. I always just do it with my normal liner. But my liner is usually pretty big lol.
The false lash hack reminds me of the gyaru style like 10 years ago. Back then Dolly Wink lashes were super popular and extra long, so instead of the lash ending at the outer corner we would apply our lashes further out and slightly downwards from our eye (instead of upwards like Tina did) to create a longer, dolly-eyed effect. I totally forgot about that until now!
Hi Tina, i would recommend you to use coconut oil on your hand which has lipstick stain on it , coconut oil can remove every makeup even waterproof makeups and the benefit of removing makeup from coconut oil is it will work as a moisturiser on your skin 😊😊😊😊 love you from India 💞💞
You are absolutely adorable! I am laughing so hard when you were doing your lipstick and than I lost it when you were trying to get your contacts out. You are really making things fun. Thank you.
I don't recommend mixing lipstick with lotion/cream. Face lotion can remove makeup. I don't know about serum, but if it's oil based then yeah, no. Best to mix it in with a mixing medium, foundation or just go straight on with a liquid lipstick (in a subtler color!)
Another contact lens removal variation: look straight into a mirror, gently put a finger on the upper and one finger at the lower lash line. Press against your eyeball lightly and then it is like.... popping a pimple ^^'' you close your eyes with your fingers, you can feel the contact lens and then you lift up the edges of it have fun trying it :)
That’s how I always take out my lenses actually, takes some practice, you need your fingers pretty close to your eye and you definitely need to stretch your eye sideways a little but that’s how my eye doctor taught me when I got them. 🤷🏻♀️
For the contact hack, you have to move your fingers together like you’re forcing your eye to close instead of blinking. I think the pressure helps it’s move
I wore hard lenses at night for years that reshaped my cornea (like LASIK!) and the suction cup is better at removing those since the contact is hard enough to be popped up when the suction cup gets a grip. Nice to see it being useful for softs though too!
Tina, I think there needs to be an overall disclaimer on this video 😅😅 I was so worried about your eyes when you were trying to take out your lens, girl STAPH 😅
That eyeshadow hack does work if you watch Smitha Deepak, she actually uses a fluffier denser brush and just bounces over them and blends two at a time and it looks gorgeous
The eyeshadow hack reminded me of a turkey! I'll be trying the serum blush hack, though! It looks extremely pretty. I wonder if it can be done with a pigmented and thick lip gloss.
I've always used lip gloss for blush because shades suitable for very fair skin were hard to find. I never had breakouts from it, but my skin is pretty resistant to acne.
Hi there!! I was just scrolling through my UA-cam and i came across this video, and I didn’t regret finding it 🤩 Tina, love your vibe and personality and I really enjoyed watching 🥰I’m definitely going to subscribe!!! Best regards, 💋
For the bronze hack I make more of an m shape. I don’t contour the outside of my face so I start under one cheek and curve into my brow bone, around the nose, other eye, and finish with the other cheek
You are so friendly, relatable and positively beautiful with your honest discovery and openess in relating through the camera to the viewer. * Thank you for being you! KEEP your possitivity and laughter strong! You are a joy to watch and learn from ♡.
13:00 that other end if for night contacts- the ones I have. They aren't as flexible as the contacts u have, so it's better to take out the harder ones with a suction.
WOw Tina!!!!! I think if you perfect the eyeliner wing / eyelash thingy it would do you wonders. It really looked good!!! It opened your eyes so much. Maybe longer lashes so they can go further in towards your nose or even extra pieces of lashes . I liked them!!!!
Actually, the better version of the ice cube hack is a spoon from the freezer! Put the tablespoon in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes, take it out and do the same thing with your face ))
Use the cotton tips and bend it into a V shape it works like the tool u use on the video to remove the contact lens but more clean and convenient way cause u dont need to wash the tool every single time after u use it.
OMG, I AM ABSOLUTELY DYING WATCHING U ATTEMPT THIS CONTACT THING!!!🤣🤣🤣 THANX FOR THAT!!! (BTW, Q~tips work well too, just like that contraption thing u used...just fold the Q~tip in half, just like that thing and Voila!
😂🤣🤣🤣 hahahha!!! I loved this video of TikTok hacks, Tina! 😆♥️🤩 The eyelash curler to the lips, I couldn’t stop LMAO 🤣🙌🏼 The cream|serum blush hack was my fave for sure~
the serum blush gave you like a lift to your cheek and it was more vibrant but somehow looks a bit more natural too it was so nice :0 im not really a makeup person I clicked cause the thumbnail was funny ngl but I enjoyed watching the whole thing
i actually think the suction cup part of the contact remover might be for removing hard lenses! i used to wear hard lenses bc I have pretty severe astigmatism, and the lenses just stick right onto the suction cup--only issue is that when I try to pull the contact off of the suction cup, I tend to lose them :'''')
Your video just auto played after the one I was watching & I started watching & your Adorable, so I'm a new subscriber & I can't wait to see more of your videos...Loved this video & your funny personality 🤣😂😍🙃😉
What’s your best beauty hack? Comment below 👇
Beauty sleep...😂
The lipstick hack👄
Tina you cutie, you tried so hard to make the lenses hack work
I draw one dark kinda thick lime at the bottom of my brows and brush up with my spoolie for the perfect floofy and blended brows!
I mix some translucent powder with setting spray to blur out some imperfections

Good to know!!
No wonder I couldn’t do it!
Thank you for sharing 🥰
Wow! This is beyond interesting!

Using a steel roller meant for your face and chilled in the refrigerator, NOT the freezer, is just as effective and much safer for your skin.
I’ve also heard people using metal spoons if they don’t have those special steel rollers. Stick it in the freezer overnight and it’s ready to use in the morning!
I use an ice roller
Omg I laughed so hard at the contact lens thing 🤣 the faces you pull are so accurate!
I got little pain in my eyes 👁👄👁
I was like why did you laugh so much 🤔 and then I got to it 🤣🤣
Me too haha
That makes me ill! It looks like they’re popping a zit but it’s their eye! I don’t know how anyone can put stuff on their eyeballs.😖 So gross to me
Same. I am a contact lens wearer and this made me LOL.
I’ve been doing the eyelash hack for YEARS. I have smaller deep set almond eyes and it really helps open them up. I will say I’ve never been that precise about putting the last band on the top of the liner. I always just do it with my normal liner. But my liner is usually pretty big lol.

Yes! I thought the same! 😆❤️
Yess
The lenses removing part was hilarious 😂
That last eyeliner hack was so challenging and to see Tina to try that on her whole face was so cute.
Tina never fails to look cute in everything she does.
I was so scared she was gonna take her eye out doing that blush hack! Those nails are deadly!💅🏼👀
The contact hack -😂🤣
I was laughing so hard when you were practicing the eyeliner 😂
Me to 😂
For blush mix lipstick with a drop of foundation and then apply it
So much better than serum and it last way longer

Or olive oil I lovee using it to remove makeup and that's the only thing I've been using for years
I am from india too and I use coconut oil for everything ...like for body ...hair ....face😀
@@_a_a_7 💙💙💙
It's 4 36 in the morning at my place, and I genuinely woke up early just to see Tina Yong sparking her magic and humor in the video hehe 🙈🍭🍭✨
You are absolutely adorable! I am laughing so hard when you were doing your lipstick and than I lost it when you were trying to get your contacts out. You are really making things fun. Thank you.
When you were trying to get your contacts out!!! Amazing 🤩 😂 love your videos so much.

ur hair is so pretty and so long! can you share your story on ur hair growth bc it seemed to grow a lot within just a year! ❤️
I think the eyelash eyeliner hack was your BEST. Do that!!
"It's harder than when Alfred proposed"...Hahaha omg Tina i love you!!!
For the contact hack, you have to move your fingers together like you’re forcing your eye to close instead of blinking. I think the pressure helps it’s move
your videos never fail to make me smile or laugh XD I just love your personality so much and it's so real
Great video Tina!!
That eye lens part just creased me up, loved your expressions lol🤪🤣🤣🤣
I wore hard lenses at night for years that reshaped my cornea (like LASIK!) and the suction cup is better at removing those since the contact is hard enough to be popped up when the suction cup gets a grip. Nice to see it being useful for softs though too!
With the ice cube, I always freeze face cream too, put face cream into an ice cube tray and freeze! It's MAGICAL X
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen, and was laughing right along with you!!! Friggin’ adorable!!!
Tina, I think there needs to be an overall disclaimer on this video 😅😅 I was so worried about your eyes when you were trying to take out your lens, girl STAPH 😅
THATS WHY U WASH UR HANDS FITST
Hi Tina! I'm so obsessed with your videos and my youtube is filled by your videos 😅😉
At first I dont understand why you said turkey, and then i randomly pause at 4.20... hahaha i get it now
You will probably end up breaking out with lip gloss due to the thick oils that are used.
I've always used lip gloss for blush because shades suitable for very fair skin were hard to find. I never had breakouts from it, but my skin is pretty resistant to acne.
@@krisdiane you're lucky, I would definitely break out. My skin is annoyingly sensitive.
When you did the lens removing hack....omg freakin hilarious!!! 😂😂😂😂
Ice cubes are just a messy version of the ice globe rollers lol
The " shwoowsh shwoosh " was so relatable, because thats legit how I would've narrated it to Tina too! ;)
Your natural brown eyes are stunning!
Hi there!! I was just scrolling through my UA-cam and i came across this video, and I didn’t regret finding it 🤩 Tina, love your vibe and personality and I really enjoyed watching 🥰I’m definitely going to subscribe!!!

Unexpected cosplay tip from this video. If I want to go as a demon pillar from Demon Slayer I'll use that eye liner hack.
You r becoming funnier day by day😆💛
Greetings Tina from another Tina in Macon, Georgia, USA! Thanks for all your wonderful videos! Blessings!
The contact lenses one, I've done since day 1. Just look a little to the side and add them. When you automatically blink, they go into place lol
