I love the fact that you took your time to explain to them. I believe we as Africans should always try to teach our kids our native languages irrespective of the country we live or are based in, it make them have a stronger connection with their ancestors.
Please teach other people's children who want to learn to speak a language indigenous to Africa as well. I learned Twi and Hausa from living and studying in Ghana although I am of African American and Afro Cuban descent. I may be 5 oo years removed from the African continent but I am African, not because I was born in Africa but because Africa was born in me. We are one! Same ancestors.
This special family moments is simply pricless a family that cooks chill and play together has the foundation to succeed in the school of life it is a pleasure to be able to watch this thanks for Sharing and stay blessed
I am so impressed on how you teach your kids how to respect other people s ascents when it comes to speaking in English. Our kids can be nasty one mistake you make with the spoken language they make fun of you and try to correct you forgetting that it's not our home language. Keep it up . From SA 🇿🇦
You are a hands on and practical father. You use every moment as a learning experience for the family. Every experience has a teachable moment. Great job.
It's good that you have made them understand why we all have different accents. To most of us here in Africa, we learnt English from school and it isn't our first language. Nevertheless, such is life.......we just need to understand where someone is coming from and appreciate everyone for who they are
LoL 🤣 I just love this family 🤗 When I started watching was because the cooking she does effortlessly 🥰 I wanna to learn from her Also may I add the husband sounds so loveing to her
Thank you so much man of God teaching the young one , about how individuals pronounce things in different languages you have brought up a sensible point, I go through the similar act with my daughter 😁
🤣Fun time, I see the girls don't want to pick on their daddy of his accent but the guys really had a lot of laughter helping you pronounce the words❤️ I like how you took the time to explain the difference and uniqueness of languages of different cultures, being mindful also😊it's Good, Great Job Dad
Loved this video & lesson! Reminds me of childhood! 🥰 One thing about it... no matter WHERE you're from in the world.... Black people have a connected sense of humor and we're gonna LAUGH!! 🤣😭 We would be so tickled at our parents just like you precious babies! 🧡😂 Happy New Year! May blessings flow like water to each of you!
U have such a beautiful family, and I love the way that u take the time to teach your babies what is right from wrong. Please be careful with the sofa near the staircase, especially with the young babies. Keep being a wonderful mentor to others U r a great father. ❤
Beautiful family. Stability is obvious. Families should be like this. No longer have large families which is a Blessings. I came from a family of 9girlls 1boy. I can relate of the joy responsibilities communication. This is very much required in the Family which is depicted here. You treat your wife as a Queen. Just love that. If every woman could have a Nurturing Father figure we would have more happy families. Beautiful family all of you. Be Blessed Family.
He could not have explained that to his children no better than that I learn something from that message thank you so much I'm celebrating your language love it. 🧚♀️🙏🧚♂️💯❤🦋
How beautiful was this lesson from their dad!!!! They listened so intently n he delivered with so much love. Wouldn’t it be nice to hv all fathers be so involved with their children’s leading esp repeating other cultures. God bless u all!!!!💗🙏🏽🥰🌷🌴🦩🌺
Prease, massa, these kids tell it as it is. I was just sharing with my husband the problem with the Ghana- American accent. I can see my 3 daughters having a blast with this episode. 😍
Wow!!! Love this! I’m so proud of you all, beautiful Ghanaian family. I can really relate to this! Our kids also laughed at our Ghanaian accent all the time 😂they did not understand why we said certain things the way we did. We tried to explain it to them, just like you are doing. I believe this is very common in most homes where 1 or both parents are foreigners😊My kids who are now young adults recently visited Ghana for the first time and really appreciated the culture. Your kids are adorable. I’m sure they got the lesson to celebrate every culture and accent. You and your wife have done very well teaching your kids🙏🏾 # “ your accent does not define your intellect” Kudos Dad. Blessings to you all. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 MS. Rosie❤️
The best family I ever met on social media, I follow you on Facebook and tiktok. I justcame upon your content for the first time last week, but I love your content very much😍😍😍
I love this lesson and channel. I so glad I found this channel and your family. Beautiful family and the cooking is amazing. My ex is from Ghana and I lived there for 6 months beautiful people..culture and the peanut butter soup and kila wila was my favorite foods.❤
Wow, really really it's a good and grt message dear brother. Thank you so much for u and your family to post this video. Coz every time my husband and my son they make fun on me about my English. So today i showed them this video. They are speechless now. Once again thank you so much
I really hope you’ve taught the children the language. I have a friend both parents are from same country and yet their children don’t know the language!! Guess you’re raising true Africans Americans lol take care love you guys
I love this I remember it well speaking English from another language was so hard. But yes it's fun and kinda funny but I think it's done with love on some cases. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yeeesssss dad teach our future and keep them cultivated while making them well rounded....much respect!!!! Thank you Jason for being honest with your dad, even though you'll grow to see that he's far from suck😅 God's continued blessings unto you all❣️
Your children bring such joy, to be me . This reminds me of when I was a child. And around my sister.. I have 4 girls. Watching you I wish I have more children..😂🇯🇲🙏
Yes oo my brother the accent of a person is not the definition of His intelect. They ' ve not heard the core African accent, their daddy speaks well. Try Nija pidgin English ,🤣🤣 for example. It is sobmuch fun watching we all laughed with the kids they are so funny 😃
Don't be afraid to teach children about "colonisation", there is no shame in that. It's part of our history! I fight with my nieces that they must learn their native language and not only speak English. This issue of priorotising English is also part of colonisation and we need to de colonise our minds. Much love from South Africa.
The children are very good-looking 👌 cute 😍 💖 they are funny and articulate They enjoyed 😉 correcting your English, and it so funny 😁 I have family members who have been in the United States for a number of days it has not changed the Ghana accent 😄 hahaha 👌 you don't have to change your speech it's America freedom to be who you are
GOOD GOD BLESS EVENING 🙌 PRAYING ALL IS WELL U BOTH HAVE A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND YOUR HOME IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL THANK U FOR SHARING U BOTH BE BLESS AND STAY SAFE 🙏 U HAVE A ABSOLUTELY AMAZING REST OF YOUR DAY
I totally agree with you Sir. We were taught English by the British and that's where English cones from so anything else is an imitation. I get criticism from my coworkers because of my pronunciations of a number of things. Example, it's grey not gray.
Educational moment for the family and viewers!! Many Ghanaians speak formal English with clear pronunciation and enunciation!! Americans…not so much! Most Americans speak an informal version of English! Go to Ghana and many Ghanaians will have trouble understanding American dialect!
Oh Lord, this family is all about food. Food for the body, soul, senses. Such authenticity can not be faked. The dad reminds me of my dad, who was a lot more strict but taught us to speak standard English and to know the difference between slang and the proper use of language. While I'm here, I love how both parents validate their children and make them feel seen, heard, and loved. The momma is soooo beautiful and looks too young to be a mother of six. I loved hearing about Ghana and hope to learn more from you about the mother land. Thank you for blessing us with a view into your lives.
Awww, this is beautiful dad, teaching them this and how to respect other languages. I love this.
This family is beautiful. You’re doing a wonderful job with your kids. Wow!
Such a powerful lesson! If every parent takes the time to do this with their children, the world will be a better place.
Good valuable lesson Daddy. Teach your family well, they will appreciate you anf thank you later in their future. Lovely. 🙏🥳💖✝️
Thanks for watching
I love the fact that you took your time to explain to them.
I believe we as Africans should always try to teach our kids our native languages irrespective of the country we live or are based in, it make them have a stronger connection with their ancestors.
Now you have african Americans lol I have an excuse I was born here and my husband is Kenyan. But two parents from same country I laugh but it is sad.
When the children grow up they resent not being taught the language.
Absolutely, my kids do!! And I regret not trying harder to teach them our Ghanaian language.
I agree

This should be taught to all children, an appreciation for other cultural differences that do not depict intelligence.
