Probably one of my favorite scenes of any episode in AHS 1984 simply because it's done so well. Not only is it pretty historically accurate as to how Ramirez got caught but the show did a fantastic job in making it humorous also considering how dark the man really was. Those LA residents were real heroes going after him like that. Especially the old women chasing him down lol.

Then he went and lived out a fairytale ending for awhile. Moved to a new place to have a new life with an honest living, married a beautiful woman, and had an adorable kid.
I remember coming home from school and seeing on the news how the people in the neighborhood chased him down and beat his ass. I laughed my own ass off. (No, not saying there was ever footage of that happening, just that reporters were talking about it). I loved this scene, I laughed my ass off all over again.

He ran a cross a highway and tried to steal a Hispanic lady's car but her husband came out so he continued to run until he gassed out and everyone caught up with him and beat him until the cops came and saved him. The chase was a movie in itself lol 😂😂😂
Ya and my grandpa and grandma was there they use to live at Hubbard st and my grandma yelled at my grandpa to look and they saw people chasing a guy so he ram to join and when they said night stalker in Spanish my grandpa got his steel toe boot and kick his forehead and help everyone hold him down my grandma was told me she was praying thanking god and lend us strength to get this devil. Fun times rip to my grandpa I still have his steel toe boots he kick Richard with

Also, in real life, the woman he carjacked was being protected by her sons (the men who grabbed the pipe-like weapon), who then jumped on and rightfully pummeled Ramirez. Very well done scene 👏🏻

I think benjamin is more of a symbol like a gaurdian angel watching you do bad until he realizes he cant save or redeem you anymore from the wicked ways it went over peoples heads tho
