I like how realistic this video is. No “one trick to make tons of money doing nothing!” stuff. Just good advice about setting goals and delegating time to make it happen.

Hey Zac lots of great tips! I grew up right next door to Stennis :D but I'm currently at MSU working on a Ph.d in CS. I have high hopes of building a thriving tech community in the south one day.
That's really cool! How are you liking the Ph.d program at MSU, I've been debating between attending their program and the University of South Alabama's program. I too hope one day the south has a rock solid tech community!
@@ZacMarvinGameDev Its been a fun and crazy ride. I'm trying to defend this semester and will be starting a postdoc. I found out early on that I had a natural intuition for research which turned out to be a good outlet for my creativity. Being that you are into game development that tells me you are curious, creative and constantly challenging yourself which are all great characteristics of good researchers. I'd say a phd program is really meant for 1. You have a field of research you really want to explore and contribute to or 2. You are interested in teaching at the university level. However ultimate your experience comes down to your relationship with your advisor(s) and how well they advise and understand you and your goals. State has a lot of good connections with government entities as well as scholarships. Almost all CS students have their grad school paid for through assistantships or DOD cyber security programs etc but they don't have the strongest investment into much in terms of game dev and design but you have the advantage of in state tuition.
Thanks for the tutorial 😊but to get better view and subscribers watch how to edit videos and how to make money on UA-cam these thing’s will teach you editing videos and improving

Thank you! I feel like if you set realistic expectations up front, you’re less likely to be let down and more likely to follow through with that goal
@@ZacMarvinGameDev 100%. I’d also like to see a video showing some resources that helped you get started.
@@Under10Hours Great idea! I'll keep that in mind.
