Lovely as always. Did you use braided core cords or just normal braided cotton cords? Can you share with us where you buy the cords?
Thanks! For this one I used Bobbiny braided cord but I guess that any good quality braided cord would work.

Yes you can, but I personally haven't tried that. If you want to use 4mm cords you should add more because otherwise your bag will be too small. Please use at least 58-60 cords and you may leave their length as in the video. Please tell me how this turned out for you. Thank you! 🥰

Would I be able to make this if I buy ONE roll of 100M cord or will it go over a bit? I didn't want to buy 200M if I don't need it. Thanks

100m was not enough. Would need to buy 3 -50 meter rolls or 2 -100 meter. Also my rope was super stiff and looks like your rope is more stretchy and soft. What brand do you use? Also, I had a hard time telling what you did on the sides. May want to zoom in and show it slowly on the sides. I had to just figure it out myself lol
@@nicoleorozcorealtor I am sorry that 100 m wasn't enough for you but my measurements were 24 x 1.25 m (30 m), 24 x 2.5 m (60 m) and 2 x 4.5 m (9 m). This is a total of 99 m.

@@miiiocahnias I cut everything the same but had nothing left for the handle. The rope I used I got from Michael's. It is very course and doesn't bend well so the purse is coming out super stiff and hard. I guess I will order some of the kind you used. Thanks.
@@nicoleorozcorealtor Then you may not have had 100 m of string because mathematically my measurements are correct. It's also very important to be careful when measuring the threads because if they are elastic they can be confusing (they will turn out shorter or longer). I prefer to double check them before I cut the strings. In your case, I don't know what happened, but I hope that next time it will be better. Indeed, the threads used can make a huge difference and your product may not look exactly like mine just because of that.

Hi, shortly before 2:25 you do not show how to tie the first two cords, but it in the video they seem suddenly to be tied :/
Because it's just a temporary knot to keep it from slipping off the stand. At 09:10 it is seen that I untie that knot and make a switch knot. Thanks! 🙂

Definitely you could make it with 3 mm cord but I haven't tried it. So, if I would, I'll add more strings. Instead of 48, I would use about 60 - 66 and I would leave the length of the threads as in the video. Please share the result if you make it. 😍 Thanks!

So on the first side I count 7 to the point of the end knot and then 8 on the other side. So guessing one side is longer than the other?
No, everything should be symmetrical.
I counted both sides when you stopped and turned and both showed 7 and 8. Not sure how but it did. I can't even see how many knots are on the sides can you tell me?
Then probably that wasn't the final version and I kept knotting until it became symmetrical. The idea is that everything is done symmetrically as can be seen in the final result. I don't know exactly which part you are referring to, but if you look at a picture of the bag, you can count how many knots I made. I don't know how to send you a picture here on UA-cam, but if you write me privately on Instagram, I'll send it to you. Thank you! 😊
