I am sure that you can make it with twisted cord also. I would sew it and then for being more secured I would glue the ends with a very good glue. Once you have finished it please let me know how this worked for you. Thank you! 😊

I would cut more ropes (about 34). Otherwise the purse will come out much smaller. You will also need to add several rows of knots. Keep knotting until you reach the size you like. There is no need to cut the ropes longer. Happy knotting! ❤️
It might be because of the rope you used or because of the tightness of your knots. To have the best results you have to use a braided cord that is a bit elastic and to tight your knots very well. I hope you don't give up and try it again, I am sure it will turn out much better. 😊 Happy knotting!
Please make a separate video on how to sew leftover threads in the end so that it should look clean

You could try to make it with 3 mm cord but it will be very small. If you want to use 3 mm cords you should add more threads (at least 31). 😊

To achieve the same size for the bag I would use 34 cords for the body of the bag and 2 x 14 for the sides. 😊

It says 20cm x 16cm but with 5mm threads it's coming out much larger. It's a huge bag. The pic is showing it smaller.
It's not larger. If you use 20 ropes of 0.5 cm it will turn out a size of 20 cm. If you don't believe me, believe in math. 🙂
