I put them in before the baby woke up, cleaned the house, made dinner and took them out minutes before he got home.
well, whenever I curl my hair it takes about a half hour (only because I have short hair, and a connected undercut, it would take 2 and a half to 3 hours if I had long hair still) I like to watch a movie or listen to a podcast while I curl and I can just sit there and have chill time

I actually did this, and it turned out amazing. Normally have waist length hair, but with these curls...not even down to my shoulder blades. I'm sure if you were white, Asian, middle eastern... you'd still love your hair. Everyone has unique hair, not all hair of one race is the same. I love my hair, I don't wish to have anyone elses. I first saw this tutorial done by a Latina. You SHOULD love your hair, but even your hair isn't the same as hers. Not exactly. Be proud of who you are because it's who you are, not because of what you're not.
This is how I do mine to get the small spiral curls . I have just slight wavy hair. I love curls. I started doing the straw curls when I was 15yrs old. I always made sure it was nice and curly for school lol. I'm 39 now and this is still the way I do my curls. I've always found it to be the best look and have the best outcome. Your hair is very beautiful too,by the way.

The point of the bendy straw is so that you don't have to use the product to make the ends stick to the straw. If you start twisting from the bottom you bend the end of the stram over your ends and secure it with a rubber band. It just really helps with the security when you are sleeping. Just a tip for next time. :) You got great results though!!!

Yes, I have fine hair. Even though my hair is naturally really wavy, it usually won't hold a curl. Curlers or irons. Just doesn't hold. I'm in my second day and though they're not as tight, they're still amazing. It's worth noting that my dude and I may have....worn them out a bit last night.
Omg I have not done a straw set since 2000 ❤️ I love that you are using rubber bands I never thought about using a flexible straw 🤔I used straight straws and bobby pins....LOTS OF BOBBY PINS 😳
Thank you! That was one of the reasons I used rubber bands because they come like 200 in a pack and I knew I would have to get more than enough bobby pins to make sure I had enough so the rubber bands seemed like the easier choice. Thanks for watching!!
If you wanna go smaller lol. Use those red coffee straws. Those make awesome curls. Since you can't bend those,I use gel to get the ends to stay. Sometimes gel won't hold all the time so the ones that dont hold I use bobby pins
