    Hey everyone! This is a truly AMAZING card trick that I think you guys will really love. It seems super hands off and fair; the spectator does almost everything by themselves, yet the trick still works! Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!

    Thank you for this wonderful card trick. It worked great with my parents. You are inspiring as well. And for those who watched this video, I think 1/4~1/5 is better than 1/3 since it cause less failure by making them take off fewer cards.

    Could you possibly make a video about beginner sleight of hand tricks? I have trouble doing those and some videos I’ve seen don’t teach them super well, it would be super helpful!

      I suggest finest your technique instead of just learning the trick.
      Understanding Double Lift is already good enough to do like 5 trick.
      So technique are more important than trick.

    Nice trick. But, I had a spectator insert the card back into the deck 2nd from the top which gave away the trick. Another took a quick peek at the card prior to placing it back in. I had to tweak it to prevent this from happening.

      Here’s some tips to improve the trick based on those experiences. For the first instance, I would still let the spectator place the card in wherever they want, but I would change the patter afterwards. Instead of what I say in the video, just say that the two piles are somehow connected and the card will magically listen and follow to the amount of cards you cut. This would make it a “transposition” effect rather than an intuition based one. As for the second situation, to prevent that I would instead hold the card on my own and hover it over the spread as I move it back and forth, then have the spectator say stop at any point. This would make sure the spectator doesn’t see the card.

    Having them place a dummy card that they THINK is theirs is a nice touch, but not mandatory. If the volunteer is a heckler they may turn card over. I say that to say, simply losing the card and predicting where it is, is impressive also without that extra step. It took me two views to figure out why you did that extra step.

  • @shxreef603
    @shxreef603 Рік тому +2

    i have a question wont the spectator know that they have put the cards on the top half of the pile and wouldn't they be suspicious that how the card came on the bottom half of the pile?

    • @AMillionCardTricks
      @AMillionCardTricks  Рік тому +3

      You can say something different than what I say. You could say: “Now your card will magically teleport to the exact position matching the amount of cards you cut!”

    I don't know if I'm thinking too much like a Magician, but let's say the spectator places their card WAYYY NEAR the bottom or WAYYY NEAR THE TOP. For it to just appear at the 16th position isn't logical. They may not know how you got it there, but they may conclude that the card they inserted wasn't actually theirs. What do you guys think ab this?

    • @AMillionCardTricks
      @AMillionCardTricks  Рік тому

      You don’t have to use the patter I used, as it wouldn’t make sense in the situation you describe. Instead, you could say something along the lines of: “this pile of cards you cut will now determine where your card is located in this pile.” Or even: “Because you cut 16 cards, your card will follow along and be in the 16th position over here as well.” Just some ideas :)

    • @Cardtrix8
      @Cardtrix8 Рік тому

      @@AMillionCardTricks Yk what could work too. We could have the specatator cut the pile their card is in and say that they've cut the cards to where it'll be 16 cards down. We can just use a simple cross cut force for that. It adds another layer of impossibility as well

      It’s a move by Mark Calabrese to get a card in a specific location from a spread. I definitely could’ve done it better in the video, but it saves an extra step instead of having them 1. remove the card 2. placing it back 3. lining up the cards together.
