I like your frame very much, I use 1” pvc pipes from the home store as my ribs. The one thing I was instructed NOT to do by the yard boss at the marina was “don’t tie anything to the jackstands”, especially tying down a tarp since it can become a HUGE sail in 30, 40, or 50 mph winds in midwinter that could pull the jackstands out from underneath the boat, and when one boat goes over, it takes the rest of the boats with it! Scary
@@aquaholic3 that sounds great. Thank you for sharing . I think I will copy your idea. My boat, stored in NY State is 32' long but it should not prevent me from going your route. We don't have more snow here than you guys up north. Again, thank you.

Your marina is correct. Whennl using jack stands, nothing should be tied to them. I have a cradle, no issues there.
Love this.
Great idea ! How the tarp and plastic tubes hold after the winter? Do you need to replace entire structure and tarp cover each season ?
I've been using the same pipes for over 12 years now. The tarps last 5 to 6 years, mostly due to sun.
Biggest yearly expense are the tie-wraps... lol..

Many fellow members at my club now do the same thing.
@@aquaholic3 Beauty of your system is that all components are easy to obtain, lightweight to handle AND store after season. Congratulations! 👏👏👏
