1996 Bassmaster Classic

The best bass fishing anglers test their skills on Alabama's Lay Lake in the 1996 Bassmaster Classic. Fishing fans will recognize Mark Davis, Kevin VanDam, Alton Jones, Davy Hite and George Cochran in this summer Classic competition.

I enjoy going back threw the older classics... it's awesome seeing them fish without all the electronics i have no problem with the newer technology I just enjoy man against fish...

I graduated high school in 96' and had BASS subscription every year, was all ask for at Christmas since I was real young. Still love fishing tournaments to this day. These guys look so young compared to now but guess ive added a few years too..lol. Thanks for posting the video, was good reminiscing!

I was born in 96 in Birmingham and the 96 classic was in Birmingham and i love bass fishing. Coincidence I think not

George Cochran is my grandmas cousin. Bassin is just in my family veins. Wish I could’ve fished this 96 classic

The classic was tougher to win when it was in the Summer every time, that's why Clunns 4 wins are a so respected.
