  • Boulder Creek Town Run. This was a fun run, with numerous creek style drops, and a few surfable features. There were numerous strainers (logs and fallen tree limbs) once you leave the whitewater park. At higher water, trees along the creek bank become a potential hazard. I'll also add, I've paddled the whitewater park a few dozen times at flows no higher than approx. 300 cfs. But, friends and friends of friends say at flows starting between 400 to 500 cfs, the creek changes personality and is less forgiving.
Put in: Boulder Creek Bike Path & Boulder Canyon Drive converge just upstream of Eben G. Fine Whitewater Park. There are several take outs. This video has the take out at the former Fate Brewery past 38th Street bridge. Many kayakers take out around the CU Greenhouse. Boulder Creek in Boulder, Colorado on June 07, 2019 @ 318 cfs at put in, possibly at 350 cfs by take out.
Kayakers: Dejan Smaic, Curt Cleavinger, Dale Eva, Tom Wallis, and Paul Hauser.
    Music: "Don't Stop" by Audionautix
