Shrink his size a little, lower his health a little bit, change the shield ability to make him less tanky and more offensive, tweak the damage numbers a little and boom. Disruptor DPS. The CC and stuns would be ok then since he would be a dps and not the tank.

It's just a 50-hp hamster running around, bitting people in the shins
They've said several times that they're not going to do that, Dva on her own already causes so many issues that they've decided adding yet another hero that exits their mech is off the table.

They definitely should try the map vote system in a Quickplay Hacked or something. The double pick was pretty much ... useless ? The faster respawn was awesome, felt so much faster and I had a blast on it. We had no news on that and I wish they told us about what they thought of that
they said that wanted to make flashpoint faster to arrive the point from spawn, maybe they use the faster respawn there and a speed bonus when you respawn (I think they talked about this last point on a dev blog), the double pick I think that is not gonna work now, the game has been oriented on other gameplay from years ago and it's very hard to balance the game again for something like that, that would mean also do a lot of reworks to heroes to don't feel a lot of compositions so opresive
The map choosing/banning feature is the perfect thing to test in quick play hacked
yea, it also can give them a lot of data of the "problematic" maps/modes to rework/improve them, I think that it could be a good addition after the "map rework season" they mentioned on the roadmap
ow has a lot of maps right now and for this year we know they are working on 4 new maps, the new push map, hanaoka for clash, another clash map for when the mode releases (pls anubis rework) and a new flashpoint map, so they need to do some maintanance to previous maps or the problems will start to accumulate

Arcade queue times are insane. Should maybe integrate Arcade and Cutom games together, so you get to select a game or create a lobby

I really don’t want map voting. I personally enjoy a wide variety of maps. If anything, do halo 3 veto system where you can say no to one choice and get one random backup. That’ll still give them data on hated maps.
That's actually a great idea. They can see exactly which maps are most popular/least popular based on the number of votes, but without influencing the outcome of matchmaking too much.
@@nebulous9280 right, like let’s set the bad maps aside for reworks but not overplay the good maps.
I agree that a map ban system like Siege has would be best. Offer 5 random choices, each team simultaneously votes on one map each to ban and the final choice is randomly decided from the remaining 3 or 4 options (depending on whether both teams banned the same map).

Ximming is such frustrating experience. They should just drop mouse and keyboard support on consoles for ranked play… it’s not a fun experience at all and a lot of my friends are hesitant to play console bc of this
There is no mouse and keyboard support for console. Thats what a XIM is for. Because there is no mouse and keyboard support, players use an external device called XIM to convert the mouse and keyboard inputs as controller inputs and tricks the console/game. Think of it like Cheaters vs anti cheat. Cheaters use external software to trick a game to do something that its not supposed to. While anti cheat is trying to catch the tricks thrown at them. So its a constant war between the game anti cheat and ximmers with new updates. Once they find one trick and fix it, they'll come up with something new and that gets fixed and it'll keep going.

I don't play on console anymore, but when I did it was pure pain playing against Ximmers. It's always the hitscan with a boosted mercy pocket too... What kind of person would even xim? I don't get it, such losers smh

For colosseo, I would just prefer to change the time of day on that map. Sunset maps are eye glaring sometimes especially this map when the robot has to pass under the bridge and sometimes having to look up to shoot someone on top of

What happened to the weapons that were blue and white that they made for Mercy, Rhinehardt, and Reaper? I bought Mercy's, I would like to see more of those weapons with different colors and sounds. I think they were dope.
There's a couple other new gun options you can see upcoming if you filter your hero gallery for unowned that I haven't seen in the shop yet. I know soldier is one but I think there was another

Would love An Arcade Game Mode ( or at least in Game Browser) for getting randomly assigned Heroes who then draft all their abilities and ultimate from all the drafted heroes pool taking turns like in a proper draft

I think there's been a sea change here -- in the past the OW dev team would often have a burst of sharing stuff then go dark for literally 6+ months. This seems like a thing of the past.
yes, but it is also frustrating that every question had to be pre approved. Im sure many, myself included wanted to know about 6v6 but that question wasnt allowed

So basically instead of earning a fully customizable skin at the end pass you get to choose what pieces of the mythic you want. I hope that means well at least be able to buy more than one basic mythic skin without other customizables
I feel like one of the big changes I'd love to see is a reduction in the kill power of Supports, speaking as a Support (mostly Baptiste) main. The new DPS passive makes playing aggressively more important than ever, bringing "DPS Moira and Lucio" into the meta. As a Support player, it's really freaking annoying to be losing a game because you're trying to actually heal and support your team while the enemy Supports are diving your backline. And as a DPS, it feels obnoxious to try and dive a Support and just get deleted.
Tbh I'd be down to see all Supports lose their ability to crit, and have their kits rebalanced around that.

Map choices of 3 should be voting for 1st pick and 2nd pick. That way you are getting the player to acknowledge they might get something better than their least favorite and overall it's a better voting system. It also let's them see which maps are getting the most "last place" votes.

i would love the new ranked system!… if it actually showed me my percentage after games. when i’m in a group playing ranked, it just doesn’t show me my upward/downward movement
It would be cool if there was a QP and comp mode where before the start of the games it locks the other roles while everyone votes on who gets banned from each role. So starting with tank everyone votes and most votes on a hero gets banned from that role then it moves to DPS same thing so 3 hero ban per game. Would make it interesting to not knowing who will vote what and those who are good at a certain character would be forced to try different heroes. Kinda working in your favor cause it makes you a better player all around.

For the map selections just choose your preferred map, not a map to vote out - sure you may still get some rage quits from people who don't always get their map but that can be tracked and added to the punishment for quitting matches.

11:01 one way they could mitigate the rage quitting for not getting the map you want is to penalize their queue time by 3 min if they quit after a map they didn’t vote for was selected. This means players who got the map they wanted that DC can still queue again without penalty and the rage quitters are disincentivized. This might make people upset but they’re rage quitters anyways and need to take a break regardless bc they’re clearly tilted over something as simple as a map.

Because they are still under the illusion that tanks were the main problem in OW1. Tanks "caused" GOATS (which no, supports did). And tanks created double shield (which no, 2 tanks out of the entire line-up did and supports helped them even further)
Ball needs flamethrowers and his ultimate should be a better version of the piledriver like a giant fireball slam with the mines

I definitely agree with tank feeling so much more stressful due to going 5v5. I used to play tank all the time in OW1 cuz I knew I had a second tank to back me up. Now everyone just blames tank so I don’t even queue up for it anymore. I probably had 50+ games as a dps and support each and like 2 games for tank last season

Individual performance has to be a factor in rank gain/loss too. If you absolutely dumpster the lobby and go 40:1 and somehow still lose you should lose much less rank for the loss. Like instead of -22% you only lose -12%
Like wise if you go 5:5 but win and you should gain less for the win.
The stats you get should be compared to all other players on that hero and map. Obviously, sample sizes are going to differ for lesser played heroes so a baseline would need to be established too.
Hopefully the rework for ball is not having a cooldown on grapple if you never get on fire

I still think that rank in general should bc based on how good you do rather than if you win or lose bc I lost 20% after a game and here I got 33 kills and 30,000 heals on moira but bc my dps were doing literally nothing we lost, then I got 20% back after doing a game where I did not nearly as good, I think I got like 10 kills and 12,000 healing. I know it gets thrown around a lot but I hate ranking down after such a good game bc a few team members were bad. Like it should be based on your abilities rather than your teams as a whole
