      Hello. How are you? Were you able to get this setup to work on TrueNAS? I have one installed with Raid 1 but the DVR does not activate the disk to format it.

    Question:
    What changes would I need to make If I wanted to record from the Hikvision IP cameras directly to the hard drive on FreeNAS? No NVR involved.
    I've only gotten it to work with FreeNAS 9.2, but not in 11, as using 9.2 settings in 11 has no effect.

      Hi, You need a static ip/VPN of all the location with high speed internet
      Also you can try this method to record the videos : ua-cam.com/video/AzuAGIH8sM8/v-deo.html

    Trying to do this with standalone cameras and they're not writing to the NFS without VMS. Is NVR required for the write-to-disk operation?

So kindly arrange playlists according to topics. Suppose i need CCTV videos. How can i get ur cctv videos in one place?? Do i need to search all of ur videos? So please suparate CCTV videos in "one playlist" . Apart from this ur work is excellent 👌. Thank you

    Hello, I have a TrueNAS installed, I have followed the steps as in your video, I can stretch the shared pool but the dvr does not let me format the disk, it only shows the disconnected status, 0GB capacity and 0GB capacity. Could you give me some recommendation? The DVR model is an iDS-7232HQHI-MS/S. Thank you very much in advance.

    • @Techlogics
      @Techlogics  4 роки тому

      Remote WAN access lot of internet bandwidth required. Better use with LAN network only.
      Even you can set Router Static IP / DDNS & port forwarding to access the NAS on WAN Internet.
      To Store video from Remote Network (WAN), We will post the video ASAP.
