i thought that they used CGI even for the war scenes.. i just found out that there were many people participating in this movie.. wow

Yes, there were a lot of them, they were shooting for weeks (soldiers and bessies galore). I was an extra in it too but as a refugee girl in the "city" and in the scene where Hercules goes to the dead bodies after a battle and sees parts of his nightmare there.

brett ratner is a hit and miss, loved all the rush hour movies but did not like x-men 3, i don't blame ratner because he didn't write the script or story, hercules was OK.
