I have a couple of actual patterns like this, and you sold me! There is no better color for a sacque dress than brown, unless it's white (lovely nightgown) or a ditzy floral in grey or brown -- or blue. Sh!# now I have to add this to my list of things to make. The music completely fit with the dress. Bravo!
I LOVE the twill! I`m so in love with all the shades of brown right now. I think I`m going to try and make this! It`s too cute to not have in my wardrobe!
Haha I will take that as a massive compliment, that sounds like a nice one! It's such a long time since I last took it, apparently I moved from INTJ to INTP in 10 years.
I love the shade...😂 I sometimes look at my old projects and think the same thing about my techniques. But at the same page is it very good, when you see improvements in your sewing. I am now sewing a similar dress out of a bedsheet in a brownish rosa. Your video is very handy in that process, but one question came up. You said, that the sleeve you cut out was weird, but I worked? What would you do different with the sleeves, if you sewed this dress again? I always finde them hard to come up with.
I did make it again recently, and for that one I made regular edwardian shirt sleves. It turned out way better. So I guess using a regular sleve pattern was what it needed
Thank you for this video! You've sold me on making this garment. What type of twill are you using; cotton, wool. linen? And the color worked beautifully.
Thank you! This is a flimsy viscosis twill, it's a pain to work with, but looks beautiful. And this is maybe the cheapest fabric carried by stoff&stil, if you're in Europe.
The amount of heartfelt indignation you direct at yourself in this video is honestly pure comedy 😁
Best self roast video I've seen in a while
In blue and with a white apron this could be a great Alice in wonderland dress.
The brown is giving me jane eyre vibes.

This is amazing, the sass in this made my day worthwhile.

A young Anne Of Green Gables vide as well. Well done!
It's absolutely lovely! Very much enjoyed the format of this too!
Are you an INFP personality type on the Myers-Briggs? 🤔

@@NoMoreSilkTwist As an INFP, INTPs are one of the best types! Fellow weirdos in the best way 😎

@@NoMoreSilkTwist Thank you so much for the quick answere. I luckily happen to have an edwardian sleeve, so I don't have to draft one. 😌🍄

This is beautiful, 😍I love your footage of the reveal, what camera do you use?
I use my phone... amazing what you can do with it
@@NoMoreSilkTwist wow! That's amazing indeed, my phone camera is certainly not that standard lol
Where are you living? İt looks gorgeous 🌸
