- The full 24 minute mix recorded from the radio o_o Listen to it all here!
Date: July 1998
DJ: Bobby D.
Location: Chicago, IL
Source: WBBM 96.3FM
Recorded with a normal bias cassette.
Who else used to sit in front of their stereos, tuned into B96 on friday or saturday nights between 10PM and 5AM with a tape in the deck waiting for a mix by Bobby D, Bad Boy Bill, Julian Jumpin Perez, or TKC?
The only bad part was the 30 minute sets of commercials between mixes.
"blah blah blah Zero Gravity in Naperville" then "drink specials at Excalibur downtown" then something in Elgin, then something in Des Plaines......THEN back to the mix.
Ahh! I was just saying this same thing to my partner, that was my shit, and when visiting grandpa in elgin, i would just eat sugar cinnamon toast, pug in headphones at the radio and wait for bobby d to set the night on fire!!!
YES!
That sounds like me. Bobby D was always on first at 10pm. Then usually Bad Boy Bill. My friend Chris would be up all night listening to Markski, Tim Schomer, and whoever else played during the wee hours.

One album I have been looking forever that I used to have on cassette, "Bobby D's In the House vol.1" Anyone know where I can locate this? I'm in Vietnam now so VERY difficult to have it shipped here. Buying digitally would be ideal, but cannot find. Cannot even find some of the trax on it.
Discogs has one in stock but it'll need to be shipped from the Netherlands.
I have it on tape. Should I convert it for UA-cam
i am also looking for the same cd
@boxnhard Sorry, didn't record any Middleton mixes. Most of mine come from Bobby D or To Kool Chris
That's just means you got good taste. I use to record mostly Bobby D, TKC, sometimes Markski, and Dj Speed.
