The ultimate political Truth we are dealing with is that Medicare For All will only become law if/when Bernie _and all the rest of us_ succeed in *_demonizing_* the private insurance industry as *THE MAFIA.* _That_ is how most voters must see them because that is when all the members of Congress who've been taking big $$ from the health & pharma industry will finally find the _political courage_ to walk away from that money come re-election time. They'll see there's no way they will win re-election if they are perceived to be bought-off minions of The Mafia. And the most important part of this strategic goal is that it does not require that we make up any false smears in our accusations because it is 100% legitimate to describe them in that way. Not because it is technically correct (however one could prove such a thing) but because it is a 100% accurate _descriptive metaphor_ that can be used because it is spot on in describing the *economic role* that the private insurance industry plays in the economy. From *"Our Health Care Choice: Medicare-For-All or THE MAFIA"* . . . "In both cases, we are talking about 'middle-men' who insert themselves into an industry where much of the demand for what is sold is _desperately felt_ - a market feature they are able to exploit through great cleverness and by _buying off key government officials."_ "Important Fact #1: The owners & executive directors of health insurance companies _are _*_not experts_*_ in the provision of health care services._ They simply hire the experts they need to run that part of their racket. They are not ‘special people’ who make a unique & vital contribution to the health care services we all depend on. They’re just there to skim money off of other people’s neediness." "Important Fact #2: The owners & executive directors of for-profit HC insurance companies are *finance people* - like _bankers_ - whose only job is to decide how much of their revenues they’ll need to 1) set aside to pay out claims, 2) devote to campaign contributions for politicians, 3) spend on full-time lobbyists in Washington, 4) invest in PR advertising, and of course how much they should 5) lavish on themselves this quarter. "Important Fact #3: The HC insurance industry is not a market in which there is, or could ever be, any *_price competition._* That. Is. The. Reason. Why. our health care costs in this country have skyrocketed over the past several decades. It’s true that health insurance companies do compete with each other, but they _never compete on price._ They compete only on their talents at *_obfuscation."_* "Here’s how they do it: they juggle 4-5 different billing variables in ways that make it impossible for HC consumers to comparison shop between the different insurance companies. *Premiums. Deductibles. Co-Pays. Percentage of services covered. Who your employer is.* They make it next to impossible for the market for HC Insurance to function in a way that optimizes the welfare of those who need HC services." medium.com/@jamesjkroeger/this-is-our-choice-medicare-for-all-or-the-mafia-f213e62a54d _Go Bernie!_

He's a champion for everyday people. It's perfectly reasonable and sensible to have universal healthcare, affordable education, and childcare. For those those that opposed Bernie, i understand why, there's a limit to how much "free" things you can have. Unlike other well-off countries the US did not get the basics in place decades ago, instead we're spending trillions on the forever wars and we've inflated costs by funding loans for students and allowing runaway healthcare costs. Now that people are desperate, we see the likes of Trump on one end and Bernie on the other. It's understandable. In 2016 the Dems we're going to give us more of the same in Hillary, and people have had enough. I too trust Bernie because of his long records on fighting for the things people care about. It might be too much to the left, even for me, but when other leaders kick the can down the road in something as basic as universal healthcare, what choice do we have.
@@Malc4dead "Champion of the people." Yeah, that's what they said about Lenin, Mao, Ho, and Castro too. Until they got in power, and the horrible truth was revealed. And still, you learn nothing from history....
@Harry Mann Jr How the fuck does replacing all out of pockets expenses with taxes that are less than our current out of pocket expenses not make common sense?
@Harry Mann Jr you already pay those taxes but in a private sense. You have to pay for copays, deductibles, and premiums to get your healthcare. You're also linked into coverage plans that are limited and have a narrow range of doctors and hospitals. bernie's plans eliminate all of those, there is no limit on what is covered, where your hospital is, or what doctor you can get. You have access to the whole country; if you hypothetically live in Arizona, you can brake your leg on a skiing trip in colorado and still get covered without extra expenses.
@Harry Mann Jr So let me get this straight. Even if it means it will result in more money in your pocket, you are against taxes being raised? Have I got that right?
@Harry Mann Jr I guess your employer pays for your health insurance - maybe they can see why universal healthcare is better. It might only be better for you than insurance when you actually get sick or injured - then it might save you many hours and thousands of dollars. I hear about the US healthcare insurance system and it sounds like a nightmare. Then I hear people like you arguing against your own interests - as if you like begging insurers to cover some of your costs when you get sick -- what the fuck is wrong with you?
Harry Mann Jr Are you kidding me? It is cheaper did you not hear the insurance part where people spend about $20,000 a year on insurance for medical it’s just 5000 in your taxes that’s a $15,000 difference
This is the answer he has to keep putting out there to answer the "taxes going up" questions the Corporate Media keeps asking him! Eliminate Private Insurance entirely will save Americans Billions of dollars!
@Harry Mann Jr He's saying overall spending by people will go down from $20,000 per year to $5,000 per year. That is why 30 other countries pay less than we do and have better outcomes. Statistics show that. We spend much more than these countries in things like copays, deductibles and premiums which are just a tax! And they don't have to worry about an Insurance company refusing payment for treatment!
@@xImBeaST12321x Hell no! I don't wanna pay $200 more to get better healthcare for me and others! I want to pay $2000 more and be ripped off by my provider!, and still end up paying for everyone else.

Premiums , Co Pays and Deductibles will be REPLACED by a tax to fund Healthcare, leaving everyone but the 1% with a SAVINGS. The tax will be less than what the vast majority pay for Healthcare. Decent affordable education & Healthcare for all is a good investment in the entire country, which businesses big & small benefit from, including by no longer having the cost of paying for Healthcare for their employees, while having healthy workers. Employers today can take away Healthcare they pay for, or change it whenever and however they want. As just happened a few weeks ago to General Motors workers when they went on strike for better wages. Their Healthcare got taken away. With Medicare for all you can change jobs, or start your own business, or exercise your 1st amendment rights to protest for higher wages if you need to, and still have the same reliable quality affordable healthcare the whole time, that your employer can't hold hostage or touch. Medicare for All also means Any doctor, any hospital, no network. Most Healthcare plans can't say the same. Medicare for all means MORE FREEDOM, MORE CHOICE.
Since I moved to England and worked here I have paid for National Insurance which was created in 1948 to cover the National Health Service and is just under 10% with extra money coming through other taxes such as corporation tax. After so much income however National Insurance stops, so it is not paid on all income but it stops where Income Tax increases so that the 10% does aactually cover most earnings, which most think is fair. My income is about $26,000 a year from my Pensions and Benefits, this also means all my prescriptions come at no extra cost to me. I get free dental care and free optical care But I am not sure if it covers hearing aids as my hearing is good enough. The most anybody who is chronically ill has to pay is a $150 prepaid certificate. If you only have an irregular prescription it costs about $12 an item, so if you have more than one item every month it is best to purchase a prepaid certificate but 75% of all prescriptions are free at the point of purchase to the indivdual and if you add those who have a prepaid certificate it comes to over 85%. I cannot see me ever being able to afford to move back to NYC if only for financial reasons. Of course the NHS here is not perfect but it is a hundred times better than back home. People keep on about Bernie wanting to take away your choice but right now most people have no choice, you can only go and only get what your insurance company allows you to. Medicare For All gives you the same treatment as millionaires and you can go to any doctor or any medical facility that you want to, we know this is true because every doctor and every medical facility will be in Medicare For All. The people telling you that Bernie wants to take away choice are the rich people who resent the fact that you will get as good healthcare as they do. I am sure that the average worker would be happy to pay up to $8,000 a year in heaalth tax because they will be losing from $12,000 to $22,000 a year in premiums they currently pay. There will be: 1) No Insurance Premiums, 2)No Deductables, 3) No Copays, 4) 500,000 people will not go bankrupt each year due to medical bills, 6) 30,000 people will not be dying each year because they could not afford to see a doctor and 7) No more out of pocket expenses.
@Harry Mann Jr The tax for the vast majority of people will be LESS than what they currently pay when combining premiums,co-pays & deductibles. As a young healthy person myself I can understand your inclination. Yet the reality is that even young people are taking a gamble with inadequate Healthcare as even they can have bankrupting debt from Cancer and other unexpected life changing disease or events. As we get older (50s,60s,70s) we generally get sicker & earn less. While our Healthcare costs get more and more. Unlike with car insurance, you Will have a period where your costs for Healthcare WILL be high one day. And no one knows when that period starts or ends for sure. All we can go on is average stats. That's why it makes the most sense to pay affordably into the pool early on, so we don't have bankrupting debt and cost later in life when we definitely will have high healthcare expenses. It's smoothing out high cost over many years VS over just a few months.
@Harry Mann Jr, you say that because you value money more than you value people. And that's what's wrong the current American healthcare system, the American Government, the American Economy, the American people! They, like you, value money OVER people. Profits OVER people. Health Insurance Companies profit margins OVER people!!! That type of thinking is exactly what's the problem. That type of thinking is old and dying! And we of the younger and moral generations are replacing it with a more equitable, moral, people OVER money manner of thinking.
@Harry Mann Jr No they will not be paying more taxes. Currently you are paying the Private Taxes that Premiums, Deductables and Copays are. Those Taxes are by far more extreme than the $1,200 a year the average worker will pay. The vast majority of the taxes comes from the super rich and very rich people. So you are not keeping more money in your pocket now than you will under Medicare For All. You come across like many Trumpers who complain about things and then protest when their choices costs them a fortune. If you have a serious accident or get a life threatening illness you will wish you supported Medicare For All because it is the only way you can get the best possible healthcare.
it's HEALTHCARE funded the same way we fund the Fire Department & Police: No CEO or for-profit middle man driving up costs, max value for money. Would all other major countries keep doing it for decades if it Wasn't the most cost effective way to deliver quality healthcare? Americans typically just don't know what's happening in other major countries. The Healthcare Insurance industry pays news channels huge sums through advertising money to encourage them to keep it that way.
They don't know the truth or how much it will cost. If they say otherwise ask where they got their figures from. Healthcare is way too complex due to unknown costs and demands to even begin to understand completely. Anyone stating otherwise is an absolute liar.
@@erth2man Here's a simple thought about "complex" healthcare. How does billions in insurance company and pharmaceutical company profits reduce the cost of anything for anyone the medical system. I'll wait.
@@bradleyjohnson6107 What exactly are you waiting for? Insurance companies that manage healthcare aren't necessarily the best solution but will manage health care better than another bloated big government program that always turns out to be the most inefficient system imaginable. Insurance companies at least must compete against one another to provide the best product or they will fail and go out of business. Big government on the other hand can't fail because they make all the rules, They just keep increasing taxes, pile on ever more regulations, demand more requirements, and are ever expanding way past the point of any efficiency. Bernie and his communist followers believe in the fairy tail that government bureaucrats are never corrupt and only have the selfless best interest of the citizens of America in their actions. Haven't we learned by this time that nothing could be farther from reality? Strong supporter of #MedicareForAll but we need it yesterday - not in 5 years! People are getting ripped off, are suffering and even dying - right now!
We need Medicare-For-All/a single payer system here in the United States! What is more "Pro-Life" than ensuring that every person in America has guaranteed affordable healthcare? Also, if we all had access to basic healthcare, we would all have the "freedom" to live long lives and rarely have to worry about medical bankruptcies. Furthermore, if some of us need additional healthcare than Medicare, then we have the "choice" to get additional insurance, but for others Medicare would be more than enough. Finally, if every other developed country (Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand) can implement this and save money, why can't the United States do the same and help "Make America Great Again" for everyone at least on the issue of healthcare?
@@dopestep6841 because in those other countries people don't get to access care, therefore nothing is paid. People in single payer systems die while waiting for care. You don't have to pay for medical care for someone who is dead.
Jeff Williams There it is, the old “waiting times” argument. 26k people a year die in the us because they don’t have insurance. 500k people go bankrupt every year in this country due to medical costs. Far more people die in this country waiting for care than anywhere else in the developed world. Don’t give me that shit.
@@dopestep6841 how many of those people CHOSE not to have health insurance? Believe it, or not, some do. In fact, once the travesty of Obamacare was implemented, several thousands of people voluntarily opted out and paid the fine that Obama called a "tax" for not having insurance. If people choose to pay a fine, rather than buy the product you are pushing on them, then your product is not worth buying. And, if you think that the federal government is capable of running healthcare, you clearly have never seen the V.A. in action. I have many veteran family members that get yanked around by the V.A. and can't get the treatments they need. The federal government has no idea what it is doing, and should never have control over any industry. Period. Where did you get your numbers by the way? I wonder if you know how many people die each year that do have insurance. Having insurance, or not having insurance is NOT the reason they die. People die. Everyday. So, stop believing the hysteria that people just arbitrarily die because they don't have health insurance. Don't give ME THAT SHIT!!!

Truth is without premiums and out of pocket cost you too will be saving and not have to worry about going bankrupt for being sick. Its sickening that people defend their damn minuscule tax argument over humanity. We can bail out wall street create super nuclear missiles but god forbid we take care of ourselves with the taxes we pay.. Happy new year either way
When you're getting robbed and you need to call the police - you're not negotiating your coverage with some insurance provider - "sorry, robberies are not covered in your plan. BTW, your police department is out of network as well". Sounds ridiculous, right? That's exactly what we, Europeans think of your current healthcare system. It's ridiculous.
You Europeans can pipe down and stay out of affairs. Socialism is how you people do it. We don't like it so much here. Plus, our system while imperfect, provides more and better care than most any other country in the world.
I think you need to be more specific to convince the holdouts. At your last town hall you covered several specific income and premium scenarios and what they'd pay in taxes instead. We need more of this. I would absolutely love it if the Sander's campaign starting putting up commercials on local television and youtube w/ charts ala Ross Perot (no nonsense approach). Debates will never give you enough time to deal with the nuance, but we can flood the tubes with the real story. It would also be useful to talk about what small business will save in premiums and how it would boost the economy and salaries.
Bernie is the best ever It’s for life and death and your family we need to have dignity with our health care instead of treating people like they do not deserve to have any medical attention with Dr. denial and nurse denial working together to stop all medical treatment and care for maximum profit for the trillion dollar health for profit medical care insurance
Excellent! Should have named some of the "countries like us" so people can get it better, but this is splendid! Especially coming from other people's mouths add it were.
If all the other countries can do this, Including Alaska (USA) then why can’t other states be given the same incentive. The numbers make sense. A strong economy is one where money continuously circulates .
After hearing all that the opponents to Medicare for all would ask, "Yeah, but how you pay for it?" There is no good reason for anyone in their right mind to oppose Medicare for all.
You are not alone friend. Imagine Bernie put that on there just to troll us and get back at his cousin for imitating him on failed comedy night every other saturday.
I don't recall Bernie actually answering it in that way. The problem I see whenever he gets asked that question is, he doesn't explain the taxes versus premiums, etc and gives them an open shot to just say: "See! He said your taxes are going to go up!!" .. which is what I hear echoed when I bring it up. Once I break it down, the response tends to change to "Oh, I'd be okay with that. That sounds good."
@Harry Mann Jr because everyone including even you will no longer have to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollar or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in deductibles, co-payments, premiums and out of pocket expenses. I think any sane person would rather pay more in taxes and pretty much have guaranteed health care where everything is covered than going bankrupt not being able to pay for health insurance where only some things are covered
@Harry Mann Jr are you stupid or something? because you'll have more money saved since you'll no longer have to pay for deductibles, co-payments, premiums and out of pocket expenses which is WAY MORE than what you would pay is taxes were to go up to pay for medicare for all

@@jeremyelliot4831 Lindsay Ellis talked about how this is going to be a massive boost to small businesses that won't have to struggle to provide healthcare for their employees.
In every town hall and every debate, the moderators ask the same dog-whistle question that their advertisers and Republican sponsors tell them to: "Will taxes go up?" and every time Bernie has to deflect by talking about overall cost. This could EASILY be avoided if he SIMPLY changed his plan so that Medicare4All would be deducted as a separate "PREMIUM" on pay-checks and NOT as a tax. This would completely defeat the thousands of attack ads about increased taxes that Trump and the insurance and drug companies will hammer home from now until November 2020 because they know that all voters will hear is "MY TAXES WILL GO UP", not that their costs will go down.
There is no way a government agency can promise " better care at lower cost ." Government is not set up to work efficiently, or to reduce costs, or spend less.
Crabs in a bucket. I'll explain. They don't have an option now. Either pay full price, buy their own health insurance, or take their employers if they offer any. But if we introduce a different system, now suddenly they have a choice. They can pay and maybe receive the benefit of full coverage, or maybe not. Depends on their health. If they don't use what they pay, they know that someone else will get that benefit. What they pay may actually go to someone else?! Horror of horrors! But what if that person is someone they don't like? good god! How will they ever sleep at night knowing their money will help other people, and possibly even people they don't like or, gasp! "them"! "them" being people they may have prejudices against. Noooo! They couldn't possibly be willing to let their money help anyone else! Under this system then you have no choice and they take money from you! just like the first time they made their very own poop on the potty and mom flushed it down the toilette! how dare she. These anal retentive jerks are crabs in a bucket. You can throw crabs in a bucket and not lose any, because every layer of crabs holds on to the crabs above them. No it won't. It is now a 5 week wait(not enough doctors) to see a doctor, (more people mean longer wait times) to add to it, doctors will be quitting, (low M4A reimbursement ) Doctors moving to Private healthcare( in the UK, companies band together to form private healthcare for their employees) 6 of my employers have done this, I am currently retired on it. I don't have insurance, I have healthcare.
Honestly ruins the ambition to work harder or strive for a better job. You get penalized for making more money, period. The American dream will be thrown out the window for any American looking for it.
Love the ad, but some constructive criticism. When you say in general terms that "all modern western societies" guarantee healthcare, it doesn't feel specific enough. When I researched myself and I saw a list of countries that guarantee healthcare, I was shocked to find out the US was the outlier. Seeing that list threw the whole "how are we going to pay for it" BS out the window, because it is obvious that we can pay for it. So please, put up a list to show who has universal coverage and who does not. And when Bernie speaks on the topic, have him run donw 5-8 countries that have it. For most common Americans, it's hard to convince them it cant' be done if France, Canada, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Finland can all do it. It just won't ring true that it is impossible.
This campaign is different. I don't know if we are going to win, but there's this feeling of change in the air. Voting is important, but it's even more important to get involved. The companies *chose* what should be dedicated to enrich owners of our healthcare 33 trillion dollars. Heck we never made the *choice* that these business men and women should be the owners of our monies, giving them power to ration that money to us or to deny us. This current system was not written by and created by we the people. We want a healthcare system that is of *OUR choosing,* a system we control, a system that we are on the inside and have the power to change it as we *choose.* All polls show that majority of Americans have *chosen* a Canadian style health system that doesn't have profit driven men and women owning our health situation and *choosing* for us what health bills to cover and release funds to. Americans do not want profit driven men and women in offices deciding and *choosing* to withhold and deny us our own monies they *chose* to own without us *choosing* that they should hold on to our 33 trillion dollars or not. Ask yourself now who is Bernie’s chief economics advisor? What is her philosophy on macro economics? She, and others who understand this economic perspective would say things like the federal deficit is equal to the private sector surplus. We are in such a deep debt deflation that many “Modern Money Theory”economist think our taxes would actually go down with Medicare for all. But of course they won’t say this publicly. There are two videos you can watch that really lays out what Bernie is going to do. plz watch them and share it with all the people you know 1) The Basics of Modern Money” and 2) “The Millenials Money” by JD Alt both on you tube the more you understand the mere “basics” of modern money the brighter our future gets and the more powerful everyday working class citizens get
@JamesHLanier Obviously a gigantic lie. There is no possible way a behemoth government agency can provide " better care at lower cost. " Government is not constituted nor motivated to operate in such a fashion.
@JamesHLanier Much simpler " math " would be the realization that increasing everyone's payroll tax contribution to "Medicare" and the top amount taxable will never produce the $ 3 trillion, that's 3,000,000,000,000, a year estimated for government health care. Any realization of revenue from " billionaire taxes " and wealth seizures will be a one - time opportunity, as the wealthy will find ways to keep government hands off their money. So, Sanders has pledged to elmininate fossil fuel...get ready for $ 10 a gallon tax. He wants to eliminate air travel for global warming.....a $ 1000 per plane ticket surcharge should be in order. He wants to help people put out of work by technology, a $5 federal transaction surcharge on all ATM's and online shopping and reservations, sure. Collapse the economy, and put millions out of work. Oh, but they delivered on that " free " Government health care.
@JamesHLanier They already have hundreds of billions in secret accounts in countries all over the world, where they can live like a king. Turn over the company to someone else, get on the next plane out as ' John Smith ' , and run things from somewhere with a laptop.

Medicare for All. A winning issue. Also just the right thing to do.
@Harry Mann Jr it reduces total costs of living for regular Joe by economy of scale
From *"Our Health Care Choice: Medicare-For-All or THE MAFIA"* . . .
"In both cases, we are talking about 'middle-men' who insert themselves into an industry where much of the demand for what is sold is _desperately felt_ - a market feature they are able to exploit through great cleverness and by _buying off key government officials."_
"Important Fact #1: The owners & executive directors of health insurance companies _are _*_not experts_*_ in the provision of health care services._ They simply hire the experts they need to run that part of their racket. They are not ‘special people’ who make a unique & vital contribution to the health care services we all depend on. They’re just there to skim money off of other people’s neediness."
"Important Fact #2: The owners & executive directors of for-profit HC insurance companies are *finance people* - like _bankers_ - whose only job is to decide how much of their revenues they’ll need to 1) set aside to pay out claims, 2) devote to campaign contributions for politicians, 3) spend on full-time lobbyists in Washington, 4) invest in PR advertising, and of course how much they should 5) lavish on themselves this quarter.
"Important Fact #3: The HC insurance industry is not a market in which there is, or could ever be, any *_price competition._* That. Is. The. Reason. Why. our health care costs in this country have skyrocketed over the past several decades. It’s true that health insurance companies do compete with each other, but they _never compete on price._ They compete only on their talents at *_obfuscation."_*
"Here’s how they do it: they juggle 4-5 different billing variables in ways that make it impossible for HC consumers to comparison shop between the different insurance companies. *Premiums. Deductibles. Co-Pays. Percentage of services covered. Who your employer is.* They make it next to impossible for the market for HC Insurance to function in a way that optimizes the welfare of those who need HC services."

It’s just plain common sense! Medicare for all will be cheaper, easier, and people will not have to go sick without care.

Amen!!!!!!😊👍

@Harry Mann Jr Because other countries guarantee healthcare to every single person and spend significantly less per person than we do.
There will be no "choice" once all insurance companies are shut down. Which is his plan, in case you weren't paying attention.
@Harry Mann Jr are you stupid or something? because you'll have more money saved since you'll no longer have to pay for deductibles, co-payments, premiums and out of pocket expenses which is WAY MORE than what you would pay is taxes were to go up to pay for medicare for all
@Harry Mann Jr LOL i am not lying medicare for all can and will work hell it works in all of the developed world and there is no reason it can't work here
@Harry Mann Jr looks like I win here
@Harry Mann Jr clearly you didn't watch the video I sent here's the link to it and watch it carefully and then come back and say that you won't be saving money ua-cam.com/video/-GB8nq6CW-8/v-deo.html
According to The Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) the average amount corps pay for healthcare is $15,000 per employee.
Makes you wonder if they aren’t jumping on the M4A train because it will untether those slaves to healthcare and make them offer real benefits to employees
They won't be able to trap their employees in their crap jobs.
You're right. It's also going to save them $15,000 per employee per year. Some companies can take on new staff because they no longer have to pay for medical insurance.
Sanders is a career politician. When did he ever work in health care, or health insurance , etc. ; before he passes judgement on people who do.
people who dont get this mustve failed first grade maths!
No one escapes. swear to god the conservative mind will be the downfall of mankind.
You can sum it up with NO ANXIETY ABOUT GETTING SICK. YOUR HEALTH CARE IS PAID FOR. GET TO SEE THE DOCTOR FOR PREVENTATIVE CARE. #BERNIE2020
I like this better. 2% from employee 2% from employers and 3% from general tax base.
@ThatOneGirl I don't disagree. How does Bernie's plan pay for single payer. My plan everyone gets it right away. Bernie's m4a is phase in over 4 years
You guys are just SO good! Love your campaign adds!
Now make it 30 seconds and put it on TV so all the old folks can understand Medicare for all better.
Love the message but they need to update there numbers it would be 7250 taxes but the average family spend 2400 dollars out of pocket that being said we really need to change our medical system and start mirroring other countries that successfully accomplish this like Switzerland's or france that has a 3 way program to financed there healthcare system and it one of the best in the world as far healthcare and cover to all citizens
The only healthcare plan im interested is this! It will be so much easier to see the doctor you need to under medicare for all
No it won't.
It is now a 5 week wait(not enough doctors) to see a doctor, (more people mean longer wait times)
to add to it, doctors will be quitting, (low M4A reimbursement )
Doctors moving to Private healthcare( in the UK, companies band together to form private healthcare for their employees)
6 of my employers have done this, I am currently retired on it. I don't have insurance, I have healthcare.
Honestly ruins the ambition to work harder or strive for a better job. You get penalized for making more money, period. The American dream will be thrown out the window for any American looking for it.
TAX THE RICH
Did anyone else think that he was Larry David at first? lol 😂
This campaign is different. I don't know if we are going to win, but there's this feeling of change in the air. Voting is important, but it's even more important to get involved. And we are living in interesting times, where you can really influence the history books of the future. So join the Movement!
No doctors no hospitals wait 2 years for simple surgeries
I dont understand how the most powerful country in the world isnt able to take care of its citizens.
WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER!!!

150/mo in medical premium and a $2000 deductible with 20% after deductible up to 7k/yr making under 45000.... WTF. I don't care about a small tax increase to get rid of all that nonsense!!
EXACTLY..healthcare corps, their goal is to cover as little as possible!!
This is all insane ! I’m not trusting my rights to the gov sorry Bernie , go back to your summer lake house and retire
For those who take the side with the wealthier class and say it shouldn’t fall to them to pay for our healthcare system; how exactly do you think they got all that dough? Clean cut and fair? Or cutting cost on production in questionable ways, nickel and diming everyone they could along the way. Granted, yes, some of it is standard business, but this tax on them is more than fair, you can argue that it’s being a little too lenient.
This is so simple but most of the people who watch this channel already know this stuff. The people who might change their minds from learning this still don't know it. Gah! Frustrating.
Physicians for a National Health Program
please elect senator bernie sanders to the oval office
I own a private ambulance company. Just want to know how this would affect my business. I’m usually owed around 50k a month from people that dont pay because they dont have insurance or because they cant afford a deductible.
JamesHLanier Thats very true. I’ve been praying for better days. Thanks for the reply
I will get health insurance in 2021, when Bernie Sanders is in the white house.👴🇺🇸
0:12 as a wrestling/wwe fan, JBL is a former wrestler and is the man speaking in this fox clip. He is a stock market zombie and a millionaire. Of course he's going to downplay medicare, he doesn't want more taxes.
Is there a plan to incentivize companies to pass on their premium savings in a Medicare-for-all system? I.e. Higher salaries. Without this, I actually do worse off financially under Bernie's plan.
#Bernie2020. The only rational choice.

This would cost $3 trillion a year. That would mean doubling spending, aka: double taxes.
Yeah for the wealthy
Pinhead Larry Middle class too bro. The rich would not be cool with a 80% tax rate like Bernie wants.
Pinhead Larry Oh yeah, just the wealthy? Even if that was remotely true, do you think the rich would continue to do business just to give it all back? I will stick with this horseshit Obama gave us instead of relying on the government for health care.
Pinhead Larry The rich don’t work to give it up, they will leave the country or find loopholes. Also the rich don’t have enough to pay for all these programs. That amount of money doesn’t exist in our whole economy. You could tax 100% and take everything the rich have and it won’t cover it!
@@bengoddard7712 literally NO ONE ""earns"" a billion let alone multi millions of dollars that's UTTER BULLSHIT, and when works are struggling and their businesses are falling apart aka Sears, Kmart, circuit city, toys'r'us, Pizza hut, Motorola, Sony, etc, etc, they magically pay themselves multi million dollar bonuses whole continuingly letting their company go bankrupt
Total bullcrap!!
Who *chose* the wealthy to create a health care system on behalf of all citizens? We the people didn't *choose* or select them. They themselves *chose* themselves. We had no say
When our healthcare was "managed" and rationed by insurance companies, Americans didn't get to *choose* that. We had no *choice* in deciding if we should have a system that under ensures us. We had *no choice* in the creation of American health insurance companies, we don't know the CEO's who became owners of our health monies, we are not on the board of these companies so we are not on the inside to *choose* what the goals of these insurance companies should be. The companies *chose* what should be dedicated to enrich owners of our healthcare 33 trillion dollars. Heck we never made the *choice* that these business men and women should be the owners of our monies, giving them power to ration that money to us or to deny us. This current system was not written by and created by we the people. We want a healthcare system that is of *OUR choosing,* a system we control, a system that we are on the inside and have the power to change it as we *choose.*
All polls show that majority of Americans have *chosen* a Canadian style health system that doesn't have profit driven men and women owning our health situation and *choosing* for us what health bills to cover and release funds to.
Americans do not want profit driven men and women in offices deciding and *choosing* to withhold and deny us our own monies they *chose* to own without us *choosing* that they should hold on to our 33 trillion dollars or not.
For the first time, the people are voting for the *choice* of the Canadian system where billionaire owners are removed from all this. So we can finally have that 33 trillion dollars serve us rather than it being split up; 20 percent going to the entire country and 80% of that 33 trillion going to billionaire owners of our 33 trillion. Billionaires making a fortune off of sickness so there's not enough for All and thousands needlessly die each year

Bernie Sanders looks younger in this clip

The truth is that neither party will approve Med for All. So why is Bernie championing the Democratic Party when he could have tried for change?
Bruh
Yes. There will be enormous tax increases on everything to pay for all this " free government stuff."
