A quick addition for #28: The ammo you get from your AI squadmates is infinite, so as long as you have 1 bot alive you'll never run out of ammo. Pretty useful for my MG42 gunners ;)
I didn't know that! I guess thinking about it it must be true considering an MG gunner can request ammo from a normal rifleman so what dictates how much ammo max they can have? Makes a lot of sense, but the thing is the AI are still too dumb to take cover in sensible places so they die more often than not haha
@Brat Hahn Either you still had the 10 seconds cooldown or your squadmate died. Also you can only request a mag after you've used the previous one. Check out Enlisted Mythbusters Ep. 2 for more information ;)
I would add one more important tip: You can pick up enemy weapons from the ground after you kill someone. When I started playing Enlisted I didn't know about this and would often run out of ammo and then not know what to do
Ive ganked so many smgs due to learning this quickly. And my sniper squads tend to shuffle the sniper rifle as they go down. Really boosted my game by upping the number of kills i get from bolt rifles

Small tips ontop of the tips in the video Bind 'mark' key to left mouse button so whenever you shoot at an enemy, you automatically mark them/direction of enemy Another quality of life tip, reverse the default keybinds for leaning. So q for right and e for left, it feels much easier to press, it might sound very bad but its much better, i recommend trying it.
I've thought about binding "mark" to LMB before, but I always thought that as you'd be shooting lots in one direction that you'd always mark then unmark the area constantly! I can see the leaning keybind reversal being quite useful though. It does feel strange for me pressing the default ones to lean in each direction so this might make it seem "easier". Thanks!
Did you know as an engineer you can repair Ally tanks. Also, if an ally tank is missing a member or has a member dead, you can enter that said tank and use its gun
good tip for tankers is that switching to the gunner when aiming at another tank it will tell you whether or not you'll penetrate just like in war thunder
Great tips! I subbed. A few things I've picked up while playing that might be useful tips. You can tap right click to aim down sights and you get a much wider view, so if you're target or targets are close, you can line up shots much faster because you're not zoomed in as much. You can rotate your defensive structures by pressing "R", so you can put barbed wire long ways in a door way, stairs or down a long hallway. You can place sandbags to the left or right, from behind cover with them facing the proper way without putting yourself in enemy view. There is a limit to how far you can be from your AI squad normally if you set them to a specific position but if you put them on a control point there is no limit, so say on conquest you can potentially cap two points at once. On conquest I almost always send my AI to a control point to help cap while I set up a flanking rally point.
Thank you and those are also some great tips! I didn’t know the second tip at all, and the third I didn’t know sending them to cap a point doesn’t have that ‘restriction’ on how far away you can be!
Another pro tip is: use benuculars the may Not seem that use full but on maps like d-day you can equip a bolt actoin rifle as a secondary and then use the benuculars to See if there is a soldier in the bunker and then shot him/them. Edit: u can also use them to Spot massive enemy formations and mark them.

Thanks! So if you see in the footage, in the bottom left corner of the screen (kind of, near it, where the minimap is) you can see it says in writing that using the X key does something. It orders your entire squad (all of them) to do the same thing (if they can). So sometimes it says click X to make them defend a point (the point where your cursor is), which all squad members can do. As soon as I "click" on the rally point in the place I want to build it, i.e. when it's a white ish colour, it means I have placed it where I want it to be. At that point, you can see I start building it, and the "X" order has changed into "build order". If you hit X here, if you have any engineers in your squad as well as the one you are using (if you don't have spare engineers, none of your squad will do anything), then your engineers will run to the place you build your rally, get out their hammer, and finish the rally point building for you. You can keep building it yourself (as more people building the same thing makes it quicker), or you can run off to do something else while the other engineers finish it for you. If you do run off, bare in mind you cannot run more than 40m away from them otherwise all orders you gave your soldiers will be cancelled and they will run back to wherever you are. Hope this helps!
@MajorMcDonalds if someone pay for a premium account I'm aware that some perks like additional vehicle and infantry Squad you'll lost once the premium account activation ends. But my question is if perks like two vehicles cosmetics slots as well as the decals vehicles slots will lost or you will keep after the premium account ends? Thanks in advance!
pls write the word ,,Flammenwerfer" ( at minute 3:20 ) without the ´s´ and write the ´f´ big -> ´F´. The word Flammenwerfer is already in its plural form and you can´t make more out of it by putting a ´s´ behind it. In germany they would kill you for this. But still good tips :)
In Normandy you can get an axe via the random weapon drops. During events you can also get limited edition melee weapons. Bayonets can also be used for weapons instead of melee weapons, often it does more damage than the normal knife. There are a few ways but the axe is the easiest one to get and is much better than the knife :)
Played the game for a bit, I have quite a lot of problems, could you help me? 1) I randomly die to a rifle shot through a wall from ~100m, there was no way the guy could see me, is he hacking? 2) do you find that tanks are nearly useless? They can't capture points and they're really finniky trying to even kill infantry with them. 3) the AI in my squad do nothing, even when trying to order them is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
Hi there, happy to help! 1) I think I know to what you are referring to here. Enlisted sometimes marks the wrong person who killed you. For example, if one guy shot you and downed you (downed as in crawling along the floor where you can only use a medpack or throw a grenade) but another guy finishes you off, the credit for the kill on you goes to the guy who downed you, not the guy who finished you off, therefore the "camera" pans to the guy who downed you instead as it thinks he killed you. It's a glitch and I think the devs are aware of it. Alternatively, it might be that one guy is controlling one soldier somewhere else, but one of his AI squad members kills you. In which case, the camera once again pans to the soldier that player is actually controlling and not the AI squad member who killed you, once again making it seem like an impossible kill. I hope this all makes sense - you aren't dying to a hacker! 2) Tanks are definitely not useless if you use them correctly. Tanks probably should be used in Enlisted differently to how they are used in real life. This is because players have no quarrel flanking your tank so you can't see them in your tank and blowing you up, whereas in real life that might be a bit too risky due to being in the open. The best tank players I have seen often sit on the edge of the battlefield, shooting long range at infantry, or holding a chokepoint, or flanking enemy infantry in an open area so that enemies have to run through an open bit of land that you can easily mow them down in. Tanks are obviously useful destroying other tanks and blowing up engineers' AT guns or positions too. For killing opposition tanks though, switch to the gunner (normally by pressing 2 on keyboard) and the crosshair will show red, yellow or green colours. Red means that piece of armour you are aiming at is too thick to penetrate, yellow means you might penetrate, and green means you almost definitely will penetrate. These areas vary between tanks as tanks were made differently in different models, but that should help you be more effective against other tanks. You could also learn where ammo racks are placed or soldiers are sitting to aim at those for a better chance at killing the drivers or other troops within it to be more effective. If you want to run in to a capture point with a tank, keep moving so infantry have a hard time pinning you down with explosive packs or AT guns. It's a hard thing to do - I'm not very good with tanks, but by learning how they move and how they turn you can get much better. 3) I've noticed glitches where my AI do nothing or are just a pain in my ass, but on the whole they do as they are told even if it's not "strictly" what you meant. Your AI will follow you unless you tell them not to, but they can lag behind or if they get distracted by an enemy they will stop and shoot at him instead of moving to you, which is really annoying if they shoot when they are out in the open so they all get mowed down. I always try to find a position in cover and click X at a point to make my AI hold that position and get under cover so they don't die or do anything stupid. Normally they do die anyway as nowhere is completely safe, but it allows you to control one soldier and do some damage, and if you fall, you switch to another fresh guy and run in again. Bare in mind you can only wander 40m away from your troops otherwise they will abandon all commands you gave them and follow you again. As long as you are using X and K keys on keyboard to order the whole squad or individual troops respectively they should do their job, but may be slow in doing so if they are distracted by anything at all, as I mentioned previously. The devs have quite a way to go to make AI more realistic and responsive, but you should still be able to control at least their basic commands well. If you are doing everything that the in game words (in the bottom left of the screen where it mentions the X and K commands and what they do) are saying then they should do it, even if it's a slightly "weird" way of doing it. Like telling them to run to a place and you are hoping in a straight line but they move around many houses to get there. If not, it might be a glitch, but it seems unlikely!
Not many people know it is there, and even fewer people actually use it. Most people use their own discords to party up and chat with friends, but it would be more fun I reckon if random people chatted to random people on their team during the game haha

Hope this helps!
i hate playing with peeps that dont mark enemies or locations my pet hate its not hard cmon guys
Great video, really useful for new players
Thanks mate! Been watching some of yours and they are really useful too :)
@@MajorMcDonalds Cheers
The content you are here for starts at 2:00
Great video!! Just a quick headsup, the musci is quite loud. So are the soundeffects.
We need a way to reset squad perks
Thanks for blowing out my ear drums at 1:55
Great video! 👍
I never knew there was a VC option, now I can yell at my teammates to get on the point.
i get that you cant get over these names , i litterally have a soldier in Tunisia who is named , and i kid you not , his named is „Dietmar Assmann”
your so underrated I7 swear
Enlisted is the only game where a German with a saber and a grenade destroys a squad of 2 smgs and 4 rifles
Italian squad be like: Koch, Kumm, Hitter
the directors cut beeps were super loud and obnoxious compared to the volume of the rest of the video
Hey man, what do you use to edit videos? TY
Hi man, I use Adobe Premiere Pro and a little bit of Adobe After Effects for some animations :)
@@MajorMcDonalds Ty man!!
What's with the music volume in between each tip?
How do you get different melee weapons in Normandy or can you only use the knife?
In Normandy you can get an axe via the random weapon drops. During events you can also get limited edition melee weapons. Bayonets can also be used for weapons instead of melee weapons, often it does more damage than the normal knife. There are a few ways but the axe is the easiest one to get and is much better than the knife :)
Thank you
so underrated 💙
You sir have earned a like and sub from me!
Thank you for the great content and research.
I didn't know that flamethrowers could blind a tank, anytime I saw a tank, I would hide like rat.
I’ve been playing for weeks and had no idea there was a voice chat option
Not many people know it is there, and even fewer people actually use it. Most people use their own discords to party up and chat with friends, but it would be more fun I reckon if random people chatted to random people on their team during the game haha
Mate pls release a video CENTRED around the fact people don't mark or ping
Additionally a lot of new players I've introduced on console, the default ping keybind doesn't work mention that
Thank You
This game is so damn good.
Question on the voice chat. Can only someone In your party hear you if you have voice chat turned on or can everyone on your side hear you cause I do have have it turned on but I've never used my microphone to see if it works.
I am afraid it was disabled a while back, and I never actually used it when it did exist so I don't know! Hopefully it comes back soon though
What the world would be if large backpack types still costed bronze orders
I play on ps4 and i realy hope they add keyboard and mouse to be able to connect. It only works for menu but since you find game it just stops working.
Is it necessary for your intro and outro music to be twice as loud as anything else in the video?
Yes I am aware they are too loud, sorry! Future videos don't have this problem haha
Regarding the recurring silver orders after level 60 on the battle pass is that still a thing?
Yep it is!
Not enough people are covering this game.
And that’s why I plan to! Plenty more videos on my channel and more coming soon - what things you do you reckon I should cover?
is anyone else watching after major got hired by the snail
Nice and helpful video. Learned many useful tips for the game. BTW, Can i have the soundtracks in this video?
Thanks! And to be honest I can’t remember all the names of every track I used, but I remember I found them by searching free for profit beats. I do remember that the intro song is Brexain - Lion, a song that doesn’t appear to exist on UA-cam anymore but it did years ago, maybe you can find it!
13:58 What is the song name?
I just got the game and don’t have the custom game mode option. I was wondering if you knew why or anyone here since I’m new and don’t understand.
It's in the far right hand side of the home screen, it flicks between that and any event that is on at the time. Alternatively, go to the gamemodes section in the bottom right corner of the homepage and you can find custom games there
@@MajorMcDonalds thanks man I think I needed to be a certain level because i unlocked it out of nowhere.👍
I’m playing on Xbox and voice chat doesn’t show up when I click options is there a reason for that?
They did remove functionality for it recently sadly, not sure when it'll be back
I have this game now but it won't give me a online play option. I can only play the Campaign. What's the issue??
campaign is online
One my soldiers is called Robert Chan
I got an enlisted ad when I started this video
On my PS4 the graphic page only shows colour contrasts
Is there a way of removing the tips on screen in game ?
Not that I know of from the top of my head, but there is the option to get rid of the hud/indicators altogether in the options menu somewhere but that would get rid of EVERYTHING, including the tips
HELP!!! Is there a way to increase the volume of voice chat as it is so low even when at 100% with everything else at 33%. It is very weak. I used it for the first time last night when playing with me on PC, another PC player and a PS4 player in the same group. It was awful no matter what we tried to adjust.
I didn’t even know voice chat was enabled again! It’s been disabled for some while! Upping the sound is bound to be in the settings somewhere in the voice chat section
What is the title music?
How to hv better FPS in settings. Thanks 🙂
I will do a video on this soon! But in short, lower your in-game graphics settings by going to the menu, then options/graphics. Also close every application you have open on your PC that you don't need, and there are other ways to increase Enlisted's process priority and power in Windows settings.
You laffing about them names reminded me of taking hours to make normal sounding names that were funny / offensive in their native tongue.
This vid is great
Glad you enjoyed!
Great hearing tips that I learn after playing for 2 minutes.
I need Joystick settings iam playing on ps4 and aiming with standard settings is soooo suck
*( I make the aim assist off )
I'll probably do a video on settings soon, though I do not play on console so guessing for console players' settings may be difficult. I'd advise you to change your sensitivity!
My guy is out here disrespecting German last names because they sound different when said in English lmao
As a Norwegian currently learning German i wanna correct you so badly
Your sound design istn´t really headphone friendly, still like your sharing with us :) *BEEEP*
I edited the whole thing with headphones on! Don’t worry, in all my future videos the sound design is more headphone friendly :)
And on Controller?
How do you unlock the flamethrower
level 6 in Normandy and level 17 in Berlin, idk if the other campaigns have them
I hate that I found this video after I already worked all these out
Can you turn off blood in enlisted??
Yes, “blood and gore” is an option in the settings
Don't get out of a tank whilst it's on fire, learnt this one the hard way...
I play on Berlin, Russian team, and I have 256 battles but i haven’t even won half of them, idk why but I feel like the German team just has better equipment and more people
Play Normandy and Stalingrad it's balanced.
Nah bro two months later I try all of them I just think I’m ass at the game
