Cool that you are doing these interlude tracks too. Truthfully, I usually skip them myself but it is interesting to go back and listen to them again more critically.
I listen to them typically on the first pass and then that’s about it.
Something you should know....This song is a musical palindrome. Sounds the same when played forwards or backwards

Not to be controversial but the ending has alot more depth than the beginning. I fail to see how that's possible. Is there a way to hear it backwards?

I appreciate the fact that you, unlike many, don't discount and discard these interludes or pallet cleansers. When played in the whole they never fail to transport you to the perfect headspace that teeters on the precipice of the next expansive musical journey. I don’t think a pallet cleanser is a negative review. It should illicit new tastes and be enjoyed if it’s a real amouse bouche. I think.

Yea I thought it was Invincible but either one is killer.
Am I out of order...I think it's because I only listen to the main ones not the in betweens..so for me..#4 on the cd is descending
I'm just as excited for him to listen to Descending, but Invincible is next.
@@jimmyg.6487 I've spent so many years with all my Tool albums in a big CD changer that they all get confused to me. Especially Anima and lateralus..I get, which songs are on which mixed up all the time lol
"Fear is the mind killer" my friend. Don't know if you are familiar with Frank's Herbert's Dune book, but you should know this song it is inspired, and named in French, in the letanie against fear which is like a religious mantra in his world building. Saludos the Argentina

To be honest, I have an edited playlist with the interludes removed for most of my listens of this album. I do go back to them on occasion though.

TOOL is an ALBUM ORIENTED BAND. Interludes, hidden tracks, backward messages, tracks that segue into other tracks, vynl, incredible album artwork.
Who does that anymore? TOOL does. ✌
When I eat LSD this song takes me to another place. This album is far superior to all.
