I grew up a very privileged life in the sense I had 2 parents that loved me and I love them. We weren't rich but my childhood was perfect in my eyes. I can honestly say that throughout my 33 years on Earth, I've never ever ever heard my father yell at or disrespect my mother. I hear Marv's stories and I cannot fathom the pain he went through to get where he's at. It's extremely uplifting to know he's making the world a better place, one story at a time. Mad respect Mad Marv. Stay solid.

From the first podcast he did, all the way through to this. We've seen the transition from the lifestyle he led, to the lifestyle he now lives. He's had to learn along the way how to conduct himself to tell his story on podcasts. To say he's lucky to be alive today is an understatement. Guy Ritchie should be making a film about this fellas life. And the sad reality is, the youth of today who watch any of his story, the majority of which will think they know better and probably won't be as lucky as marv!

Marvin, it's a good sign that you show emotions other than anger and hate. Keep going, there's a lot of peace and good on the other side.
Thank you for being one of the men who openly feels the effect your adult decisions had on others and who talks about it. I recently watched the interview with the cop who exposed Prince Andrew and despite all his admissions he still couldn't do it. And so many others can't. And he didn't have half the childhood experiences you had.

He was a bastard who worked as a soldier for powerful Irish firm for about 2 years , I know him from the system he was a bully while with the Irish as soon as he got shot with his own gun, he was famous for a few months but the Irish dropped him. As for 19 murders a cop said at his trial that the Irish firm are responsible for 19 murders he was never questioned about ANY of them murders. He lets people think he was in on 19 hits this is bullshit I know the man, he’s never owned nothing no house cars always on lease cash rich but lives in council flats. Bobby Cummins took him under his wing but dropped him but because Marvin still wanted to play. He did try and truly I hoped he’d changed because many respect Bobby C. This interview must be 4or 5 years old. Now he’s a person to avoid his small sentences was suspicious. I heard he was working with young men but this came to an end because they had no respect for him. He tried to bully all weak prisoners I was lucky I had political charges over Irish problems I was found not guilty. But I always remember him big fish in small pool.

And when he says I faced everything on my own so did I for a little pulling chives out on men that came round my mum or in my house. You have become a beautiful true soul. What you've done in facing this and coming out the other side helping so many others, becoming wise and exposing the truth and speaking about these painful memories takes so much courage and guts and you are a true hero and you need to love yourself and you are healing. Life doesn't always go to plan even with the best intentions and when bad decisions, vulnerability, being manipulated and being naive, stupid doesn't help. Thank god mental health is more recognised now and there are people like you really making a positive difference. You are saving lives, stopping some people from topping themselves, going to prison or ending up making bad decisions. These subjects need to be talked about being faced so life's problems can be better understood. Gun, drug crimes for example and knife crimes and gangs can be avoided by youngsters, especially in the cases of poor vulnerable young who come from backgrounds where some suffer from violence, abuse, grooming and even worse are victims of evil dirty pedophiles who ruin so many lives in their sexual abuse of kids. It's very taboo to talk about this especially in certain religious or ethnic cultures as by confronting the truth can lead to being accused of racism, hate . It is a big problem and whatever the circumstances, backgrounds , colour or whether rich poor it's a crime against humanity just as bad as Hitler or Stalin or bin Laden. Mervin is truely amazing in talking about this and I'm so glad he is helping so many and should get a knighthood. This could well be his purpose in life changing people's consciousness through love, compassion, empathy, truth and understanding. Clearly his talking about this is hugely positive and it's a miracle he is still here and even more amazing what he is doing now. Huge respect to all those who have gone through hell and come out the other side now positively helping others. They are the true heroes, not Hollywood stars , politicians, or people like Bill Gates or musician superstars or football stars.

When u grow up like that you don’t know self care you just know survival, you can’t afford to be empathetic, you have to keep that guard high as self protection. Scary is normal, fight or flight is normal, ego helps you to survive. Until you feel you are truely safe and loved you can’t start the deep healing.

The fact a simple question about his childhood hurts him so much shows the man's still human.
As bad and evil and worthless as the man has been at points in his life, there's still clearly a lot there. I think it stands to show like there is value just to a person in of itself. I don't really know how articulate what I mean here, like yeah everyone can have empathy for a victim but we need empathy for the guilty a lot more than we usually do. Yeah people can do bad things but I don't know when you can just say fuck it this person is beyond redemption. If you give up on people like what does that make you

I met this guy about a decade at a meet and greet - not his I might add, he was just there like a lot of faces. Nice bloke, but full of shit. You can just tell with some geezers, they tell you a story and that story is legit, they ain't proud of it, they just tell you. This fella seems to take pride in how bad he was, and how well he's turned. It's like a humblebrag followed by another humblebrag.
Seems to want to be liked and respected, when he's not really. Reminds me of that scouse fella whose name I always forget, known as the monster or beast or something. They both come across the same - they revel in their reputation, but try to downplay it with excuses.
The true players don't say a lot, and when they do it's with true regret and admittance. They don't use excuses and they don't think what they did was clever.
