What we like about "Blockade Run" and especially in these larger games is how you essentially boil the battle down to a 3' x 3' (90 cm x 90 cm) play area.
#madness What a fun fight, I wish I had time to play games this big but sadly, even if I'm free, all my friends are in college aswell so it's hard to get a game in but always love watching your videos to fill that gap Lol
We understand both the desire and time commitment to get these larger games in. These take us longer to film and eat up valuable production time for us, however we also acknowledge how much you all enjoy them. Thank you for watching and good luck on getting that big game in!
Thank you for watching! We put a lot of time into editing our battles into a digestible size. The defense token holders are made by Admiral Tater himself and are available for purchase through his store.
There was hope for both fleet until the end. It wss a really tense game. Because of blockade run the ship were extremely close and the battle from round 3 was furious. It's fun to see uncommon objective played expecially with sector fleet. #madness
I was promised Draven in the finale, and we got Draven in the finale! And he still didn't do much :P Very excited for #madness maybe we'll see a better Draven showing there!
Rare mistake by John at the last activation turn 2. I think Home One turning a hit to the third accuracy would have cleared the Arquitens (alive on one and it seemed two damage was redirected).
it is fun to watch the battle rep but there is a BUT ! can please someone tell this Rebelian player to not use the move tool wrong ? there is a rule that says: The movement tool must rest against the front of the ship's side and touch or snap into it. you break the rule by not let the movement tool touch the corner of the ships front that doesnt work here. ufff never mind the imp player does the same thing.
@@IONRadioi saw it right in the beginning of the ship phase where you can move out of the current starting position and i believe it is against the rule when the manouver tool is sitting on top of the base of the ship the correct way to use that tool is to set it side to side to the base not on top of it.
Lars, if I understand your concern correctly you are referring to when we move a ship holding the maneuver tool instead of marking ships and squadrons and placing the tool on the board. Example at 10:23 when John is moving the MC75. This is allowed by the rules. See the section on Maneuver Tool (pg 11 RRG). "If the maneuver tool cannot be placed on the play area because it would overlap a ship or squadron, the player should hold the maneuver tool above the play area and estimate the final position of the moving ship." - Ken
@@IONRadiooh okay i see now well then i must have been missleading it on the other way i learned a bit more about that one thanks i must have overlooked the rule in the book i opened the page and found it. i am sorry then. but as i said good video.
We’re glad you enjoy our battle reports. Please ask questions, we are both tournament players (in addition to streaming partners for Worlds) and have a depth of knowledge of the game and its rules.
What a great battle. Wowzers it was a marathon. #madness is gonna super fun this year. Not that many ships in the 3 by 3 but I can't wait.

Great game. I had to watch in 2 sitting because of how long the game was, lol. #madness
@@MithrandirAv We like providing effectively 2 episodes in one from time to time. ;)
Fun to watch, glad this popped in my suggested. But, half the dice from one dude hopping out of the box makes me tweek ha!
Glad you enjoyed it. This dice tray we are using has a nice mouse pad bottom that generates extra bounce.
You guys have great editing! I like your little defense token holders. #madness
Thank you for watching!

Nail biting battle at the end! Can't wait to see what rapid reinforcements 3 brings us soon. #madness
Glad you enjoyed this one, Ekerslithery! As to RR3... We'll have to wait until AdeptiCon and see what AMG has in store.

We will be a little honest - When Blockade Run came up, it is so hard to resist playing it in these larger games.

I still have to play "new Draven" on the channel. I suspect you'll see at least one more game with him.

Hello, Lars. Could you please provide a timestamp for one or two of the times you believe we are not using the maneuver tool correctly?
