- In this video we showed just one of the many possibilities how you can read a blocked PCR2.1. I'm going to post another video where I used the FC200 and it doesn't need any more intervention on the PCB. Automatically reads the ECU, you receive the password if you are connected to the CG server.

I don't recommend using clones, I used Sm2 pro clone because this was a request from some channel subscribers. Use Original Product !!!

What cable are you using connecting scanmatic and godiag adapter? Db25 m to db25 f?
Is it enough to do only the identification, in order for the ecu to be unlocked? In some other videos I see that the pcmflash procedure is different....

unlock the ECU the first time and you'll be able to do it via OBD. you can use ODIS or VAG Can pro.
What is actually the benefit of the godiag cable, seller in Aliexpress claimed that i can unlock ecu without open it.. is that true?
No, it's not true. Godiag it have different resistor and you don't need to solder, but it is necessary to open the ECU.

SM2 is at a good price but if you intend to activate each license it is much more expensive than top programmers. Do you want to use it for tuning or to replace the diagnostic, I mean J2534 operation. Tell me what you want to do with it so I know what advice to give you.

you have to find out if you can still use the original SM2 with that dongle. It is possible that new SM2s are written with another firmware that is no longer compatible with that dongle that was hacked. last time i checked this was a year ago and it worked. Don't rely on what you see on UA-cam because not many are telling the truth and 90 percent are salesmen. Before you buy, check, because 600 Euro means something, with this money you can buy any clone that you at least know will do part of what you want. I don't want to influence you because I have no advantage but I have some experience in this field namely since 2008 and I can say that I bought many programmers that were not worth buying and I wasted money on nothing. The point is that I am not a big fan of this SM2 programmer, all these years the company has not been able to make their own website where you can see the connections that need to be made to the ECU, instead they used the diagrams from DimSport and I don't think they agreed. Even the Chinese with their PCMtuner programmer managed to make a Website where they show you the connections, so the clone succeeded what the original couldn't. Speaking of SM2, know that EDC15 and EDC16 will not be able to be read, as well as the new ECUs. With that dongle from PCMtuner you are quite limited if you want to start a business. This is my honest opinion about SM2.

I have a slave kess v2 and I want to make my own files. The automatice industry is the most great thing that I experience în my life after I graduate university, from 24.09.2021 when I started to learn this domaine I am very motivated to learn more and more. My favorite tool is autotuner because you dont have subscription, and after is flex but both tools are exepnsive and I dont have that financial power, and I try to find less expensive but good tools to not let me down. Your Chanel is and will be my guide. I will have more atention în buyng tools to not buy tools that you depend to others.

Yes only the FC200 doesn't need a resistor. Bench and Boot no resistor for FC200.
I read this ecu only by obd, I have pcm tuner and Amt-Bst for bench use. I am very interested if the amt bst can read this ecu and write with succes. Very helpful video. Thanks

Some ECUs pinouts are not easy to find. Bosch ecus pinouts are very easy to get. How about less known ecus. Like pcm150f ecu.
If a programmer allows to read this ECU, then he will also show you how the connections are made.
There is no need to search the internet for the pinout, just have a programmer that can connect to this ECU.

You can't use any j2534 device, only reliable ones, the sm2pro Chinese copy is quite reliable..
last time when I unlocked this ecu removed eeprom from board read eeprom unlocker pcr 2.1 write eeprom redy for kess😊

Sm2pro is best in cloning for ecu korian car and Japanes or ktag
