Lorikeets rave

'Aggro' and his wife are two lorikeets who live near me who bully all the other lorikeets.
After being fed lots of sunflower seeds they seem a bit more relaxed than usual and seem to just chill out a bit and only push the other lorikeets around a little bit.
Apologies for some slight blurriness on the right side of the picture. One of the lorikeets licked my camera lens just before I took this vid.

Beautiful video, first time i saw one that captured most of their behavior, ! Lovey dovey creatures, ! They bond with humans , goes up my head, shoulders, very trusting.We are all related in a cosmic way. There’s one in our balcony that goes acrobatic when it sees me coming to feed, showing off, hanging by the sliding door. I love them!

They're acting pretty calm. Lories and lorikeets in the wild eat mostly nectar and fruit, so thanks to sugar, they usually cranked up to eleven. Yeah, feeding one another is standard courting behavior.

a quiet bunch! rainbow lorikeets love SEED'S! AND SEEDS ARE SO HEALTHY FOR THEM! I feed them honey, apple, water and SEED'S.

We use Wombaroo, it's a bit pricey but its the only thing our Lorikeets will eat (google it). Pet shops like Pet Barn (in Penrith), Berkshire Park Bird Farm (in Berkshire Park) and Ace Colonies (near Parramatta) usually have a small range to choose from.
