I literally carried a black note book and took notes on everything the first 6 months. Im referring to Sterilization, Decon and how to navigate through Spm. In regards to learning your instruments... Pick one of the hardest sets and learn it. You have to challenge yourself. A great example would be to assemble a Vascular set because it also has a lot of your basic instruments. Learn your your instruments first. I don't know the case volume where you are but i would pick up Saturdays which is my off days and i would take my time if given to complete the set. Also team up with career and passionate co-workers. I wish you the best!
