Even if Bryce Young doesn’t make it in the NFL, he had a tremendous H.S and Collegiate career. Not everyone is cut out to succeed in professional level, many before him have failed and many more after will fail. If his career ended today, he will still walk away a multi millionaire and be set for life at the age of 23. Too me he sounds like he succeeded.

You blame the general manager for not getting players, but he had to give up players to draft him. It is a tough situation. The team has had problems since Cam left the first time. Because he and C.J competed in HS in Cali, played college ball at the same time, and he won the Heisman and National title, C.J rise has also put pressure on him with social media blasting him. At this point, he looks like a bust, but it is still early in his career.

Ummm ... Trey Lance was a QB for which a team gave up a lot of draft capital and was then kept off the field for a backup QB. Not the same situation, point for point, but a similar situation. Both QBs are needing to rebuild their confidence after their team seemingly gave up on them. 🤔
Young started 16 games last year. Out of 16 games the Panthers scored 20+ points only 3 times. They finished the year not scoring a single point in the final 2 games. Then they start the season with a 10 point game and a 3 point game. Fans are already not going to home games, so the only option the coach had was to keep playing him in empty stadiums at home.
Re: High draft picks on bad teams, I remember seeing a clip of Steve Bartkowski (top/high draft pick QB for Falcons) on the sideline with coach Norm Van Brocklin pulling him during a game and just reaming him out, yelling at him, "this isn't college this is the NFL, you better get your head out of your ass or you'll be gone"...Steve went on to have a very good career on a lot of bad teams...you have to have the talent and mental toughness to take a benching, get pissed off and show them you belong on the field. In my example, Steve had a canon for an arm and was a big strong kid...in Bryce's case my eyes don't see anything but a very small person with a decent arm and decent mobility trying to play in the Sunday league with little success.

The OL is currently a top 10 unit. You can go get Tyreek Hill and prime D Hopkins and I guarantee you they'll fight Bryce in the locker room for not getting them the ball
