Every bartender's bane made easy - How to make a Ramos gin fizz cocktail

This famous classic cocktail recipe from New Orlean was originally shaken 12 minutes in order to get a thick foam popping out of the glass. The Ramos gin fizz has been tried and perfected by so many bartenders to achieve the perfect method but mostly the easiest method. In today's video I'm showing you what I believe to be the most efficient way.

How to make a ramos gin fizz cocktail
Ingredients
2 oz gin
0.75 oz Simple syrup
0.75 oz Heavy cream
0.5 oz Lime juice
0.5 oz Lemon juice
1 Egg white
2 Dashes Orange blossom water
1 ml Vanilla extract
2.5 oz Soda water
Method
Place a collins glass in the freezer
Meanwhile, in a shaker, pour the gin, syrup, cream, vanilla and egg white
Add the spring from a strainer
Dry shake for one minute
Add 30 to 45 gr of ice
Shake until ice has completely melted
Take the glass out of the freezer and add 1.5 oz of cold soda water in the glass and 2 dashes of orange blossom water
Dump the cocktail in the glass and place the galss back in the freezer for 3 minutes
With a straw, poke a whole in the middle of the foam and pour another oz of soda water in the whole
Place the straw back in the middle of the cocktail
