I think you made the right call. That poly fill bead probably work better on a horse gate type of situation. I think it would stay on better not drag itself off. Let me know
After using UT on the table a few times now I think the poly fill was a good choice. It does retain shape well without excess weight. I do still need to try it from a rail or wall or other obstacle.
Great mail call from Mark P. Range comparison will be really interesting. Congrats on winning the Heritage. They are the 1911 of the accessory world for 22 revolvers. You'll be changing grips , cylinders ,triggers & hammers like the rest of us Heritage owners 😂. They are fun! 👍🙏🇺🇸
@Halfmilesniper Best thing is parts are inexpensive. Out of 4 that I have none are original now. Even have Viridian lasers on the 3.5in Birdshead & Barkeep 😂. Like a big kids Lego set you just keep adding on or changing. Ammo is cheap too. 🙏👍🇺🇸
I have been playing with the idea of making another bag using rice as fill, but I have to admit, I like the personalized strap on the Wiebad tater tot...a lot! Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it.
LOL, I "steal" one pretty much every time I buy something from LaRue...I love my MBTs and my QD scope mounts. Plus, my best shooting AR I built with a LaRue barrel. Thanks for checking me out, good to see you here!
I found the Wiebad online store when I did a Google search it was at wiebadgear dot com. Say they were located in College Station so I had to check out what they had. They have a bunch of different bags, with different fill material. I saw a Wiebad bag at a local gun store this weekend, regular canvas but with the heavy sand fill. That bag was easily well over 10 pounds.
LOL...yeppers, and I still miss the bonfire and the Thanksgiving day game! Funny thing, for some reason your comment went to the "for review" section...guessing the AI model is an Aggie too, lol
I know...that thing was tradition, and built by traditional methods...actual manpower, ropes, pullies and people. The mistake that caused the accident was using a truck to move logs rather than manpower, which was very unfortunate. I was part of the crew that built the tallest bonfire, lol...6 weeks of hard work just to watch go up in flames, lol.
Now that's what I call a nice mail-call! WTG Mark P. Thanks for the video Halfmile.
You bet, glad you enjoyed it...I sure did!

Funny, I keep looking for one, they just don't seem to pop up around here too often.
Mike , for longer than I care to admit I've been filling my shooting bags with rice. No complaints.

the Hornady was slower out of my kids Tikka. Got better speeds with hand loads. N565 and 143 Eldx with ADG brass.
I recently videoed the ammo test for these rounds...with some surprise! Still editing but it'll be up soon.
@@Halfmilesniper looking forward to it!
Sorry I missed the chat Halfmile
That is OK Randle...folks were asking about you this evening in both my chat and in WhoTee's chat.
