Thanks for watching and suggesting, Sangeeth! We will definitely give those a try. We published this video a year ago and agree that there are sooo many more restaurants in DC to check out. We wish we could’ve covered the whole city and pack it into one video. Let us know if you have any other recs and I will give them a try myself 😁 - Nicky
I wouldn't recommend Indigo at all. I would rather recommend Rasika in NW if you're willing to spend more, Jewel of India in SilverSpring (upscale and there's always a wait), , or Maurya in Beltsville (more casual and they're always making something special for an event) , and Red Chilies (formerly Tiffin), or Udupi franchises (for strict vegetarians) . Jewel of India and Maurya are popular in the Christian Bengali community here but all the options are great in their own right.
This is like watching an infomercial reviews for all the restaurant owners... no dumpling can be "flavorful" with that much soy sauce...and Hong Kong is not know for "diverse" cuisine, it's mainly Cantonese food and WTF is lemongrass pho😂😂😂
How beautiful is that restaurant, though? Omgoodness. After we shot the video, we got to kick back and relax a bunch too, and the vibe there made it super fun to socialize. Sorry, you didn't have the same happy lady journey we went on, but I hope the design and esthetic invited a welcoming place to enjoy your company. ❤️
Finally! Finally among food reviewers in UA-cam I found somebody who paid some attention to Asian restaurants. Thanks.
Thanks for the review. Try Karma Modern Indian, which is probably the best in DC right now. Baan Siam is another great asian restaurant!

I love Happy Lady. I always have her in my pantry. I love the HL with black beans.
Nicky here! I put Happy Lady on everything. I just got a new jar. I nearly put it on my spaghetti the other day. 🤣

We tried but not impressed by Tiger Fork. Chinese food for nonChinese. Bill comes in a lucky red envelope.
