Nice video. But two tips. 1 use a grease gun ons a week. Its better for the machine and you can work smoother. 2 yes your dozer is on the back. Thats the good position for digging whit a mini or midi excavator. But when braking asphalt or concrete turn the dozer in the working direction. First you stand more stable and second you cane use your dozer blade to brake the asphalt. Extra benefit is when loading you get some inches more space to the dumper
Good stuff. Be cool to see a vid of how you guys dig up to, under and clear utility conflicts. I've been showing your vids to the "laborers" that are up coming. A good ground crew like yours 👍makes all the difference. Thanks again, keep em coming.
Thanks just went under a sewer line today but I left my GoPro's at home. today would have made a good video. I will be doing the same thing next weak so maybe I will get something for ya.
I run those Takeuchi excavators from PDQ rentals here in Los Angeles, California for E-2 General Engineering Earthwork Contractors as a Local 12 Operating Engineer.
Yea I was on loan to that crew for a day. I told the Suppertantent to get them a larger rig. We are replacing the older equipment right now. But we have so much work we can’t sell the old stuff yet.
I literaly watch his videos almost every night after digging for 11 hours myself 😂 he loves his job and explains everything so well that he deserves that we watch his vids 🤙
Again you prove you have more patience with slop. I'd cut some 2" pvc pipes into sleeves and smack em home in the space and or backhoe bucket slop cut some triangle shims out of 2x4 and smack em home between the hook inside the bucket. Thank God our company rents directly from the dealer
I really like educational videos like these! Your commentary is great and can help me become a better operator myself.
Thank you 🙏

And I thought my bucket was sloppy! 😅 great job thanks for sharing!
I always get the sloppy rig to run.
@@TheLeverMonkey I know you do, but you always make the best of it. Thanks for the video love them!!!👍🏻
More videos like this! You are my favourite excavator operator UA-camr! I’ve learned a lot from you and even my boss noticed haha!
That is greatly appreciated. It makes me happy when I hear things like this. It keeps me going.

I’m a heavy equipment operator myself and seeing those loose buckets are the best lol awesome content stay safe God bless 🤙🏾
Right on
I have a thumb that helps this process a lot. Also chucked that TAG coupler for a pin grabber style. Like a new machine. Keep up the good work.
Cool, thanks

Do you like them? Compare to others.
Can we get more videos like this
I will try. Do you have anything In particular you are looking for.
Trenching ripping asphalt and concrete
Could u go through a pre operation check. You do?
Helpful video brother...can we get a video on how to properly slope your trench?
Sure why not.
Makes you want to put a candle in the engine compartment and go take lunch kinda machine.

Just a note, all asphalt was pre cut to get perfect lines.
Great vid man currently in a 335 in the street and it’s a pain, what state are you in?
CA
I hate doing this but AB is aggregate base, not asphalt base. Thanks for the video. Not sure why I'm watching this after doing it all day myself.

Just imagen having to edit this and watch it 10 times after doing it.
damn that bucket would drive me crazy!
You get use to it after a few years. I can make it work.
Probably from him beating the asphalt trying to break it up over the years
It is joyful to pull asphalt for me Iam going on 30 years in the seat but I see a lot of guys struggle pulling asphalt not sure why
I am at 30 as well. I think they are just getting to big of a pice and it just keeps falling off. Instead of breaking it up into manageable sizes.
What’s your opinion on Tilt-Rotators? Have you ever used one?
I have never run one but wish I could get on one. They have there uses but I am on the big stuff and don’t have much need for one.
Check out that digger girl on instagram.
@@TheLeverMonkey yes that is very true! And will do, thank you bro!
That bucket sure is wiggly. Are the pins worn out?
Not the pins. It is a quick connect bucket they are just that way. Very old bucket.

@@TheLeverMonkey gives the apprentice something to figure out while your reading plans with the foreman
I get my own set of plans on each job so I don't have to talk to him.
@@TheLeverMonkey SOAB, I have to steal plans from the office. I swear they enjoy taunting me with a beautiful set every morning. 🤣
I usually opt for a small set that stay in my rig.
I have never seen a machine with a movable boom like that. I'm just usto the pivoting once hahaa
I like the movable boom a lot more than the pivot point.
How does this offset system compare to a pivot, in terms of wear points?
It does add some but I have never had any problems with it.
I ran the tak that was about the size of a 315, little smaller, and man it was nicer than expected. Nothing special but still a pretty decent machine
cool
What town is this in? Nice video btw 😎
Sacramento, thanks
nice jop clean. lol
Thanks for the view
Is that a Takeuchi 280?
180
Gotcha, the company I work for has 2 153’s and 280, love them!
👍
WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE
😂👍🏼
