Main reasons why girlgroups don't have in general "heavy" choreo: - Periods. This is a huge factor no one talks about. They're not robots, they have periods too and not every girl is blessed with light blood release and mild or no cramps. Have some consideration. - standards. Girls are expected to look perfect 24/7. Especially in Korea. By doing a harder choreo they run the risk of messing up, sounding off or looking out of breath or messing up their makeup and hair and specific outfits. -their bodies. Women in kpop are usually on extreme diets. I know men go on them too but pretty much all women are on diets to stay skinny. If they do heavier choreography than they already do then they will probably get ill in the long run. - audience appeasement. Majority of fans of girl groups are straight males in Korea so they will need to dance how it is most desirable. For them, it is simple looking, femanine moves. Plus your boys will have harder looking choreo as their majority straight female audience desires a more masculine image which usually involves harder choreo. Boy groups look like they're working harder as they're not expected to smile 24/7 and they're allowed to throw themselves about. -They do. If you were an actual dancer you would probably note their choreo is equally difficult. It's just presented in a way which makes it look easy and simple. But it's not always that way. -choreo doesn't need to be difficult to be good. Like mentioned in this video. It's about how it looks, not how difficult it is. -lastly, if a girl goes has 0% fat shes dead and if a guy does he is just sick but not dying. This makes diets awful to follow. Not to mention how men burn off fat quicker than women.. so if you see a chunkier girl next to a skinny guy, they could do the same amount of exercise and eat the same foods, but men tend to have higher metabolism rates. 6:40 the person here obviously is a girl with internalized mysogeny. Girl, you're feeling insecure, sit down and work some stuff out. If they were doing "harder" choreography you would still complain.
Yesss!!!! Let’s talk about how a fast choreo with jumping isn’t necessarily harder. Sunmis 24hours and Rv’s be natural are difficult. Especially be natural, engaging your core like that whilst singing is not easy at all. Non dancers often get confused and see faster dancers as harder. Also look at how well ggs cover bgs dances, but bgs don’t necessarily do as well with gg dances. It’s not because either is harder, it’s because gg dances are often stylised to emphasise femininity.
They be like "idk ___ just gives me bad vibes, I don't like them" when you ask them why and if that idol did something wrong they say "no, they just give me bad vibes",,, bs
I thought sunmi and somi were the same person so when I would see birthday (by Somi) I would say: "oH lOoK iTs SoMi, Ya ThE pErSoN wHo AlSo MaDe GaShInA cOoL!"
'i hate when someone says "bts should give a chance to other groups" like what? what should they do? do nothing? stops producing music? waht do you want ? They worked sor this kind of success since 2010 and I know their faves worked hard too but i really don't get what they want from bts to do. Should they write on their twt "We worked so hard for this album, spend x hours recording etc. but don't stream our songs and don't listent to it so other groups can win something" come oneeee
I personally like jisoo’s voice. It’s deep and I also like her normal voice. It’s pretty nice to listen to. I personally don’t know many lower voice females (they sound normal to me) but hers is more rich. She’s also my bias and I wish they gave her more lines :(
if BTS disbanded kpop wouldnt be what it is today, BTS really helped the kpop industry and I know they will disband. But when they said they were talking about it at the award show it broke me, I can't believe someone would actually want a group to disband because of the fandom. And if a group should disband because of a fandom, all groups might as well. fandoms will always have toxicity, you cant change that sadly
Exactly, I was kinda sad to hear that opinion. Especially since it was really focused on ONLY the toxic fans and not all the great armys. I am a army myself and when you are actually in the fandom there are so many great people and I haven't really talked or met a toxic army yet. It's so unfortunate because the toxic fans are usually the loudest and give the whole army fandom, or any fandom for that matter, a really bad name which is usually out of place if you actually get to know the fandom on a deeper level.
I guess everyone has this same confession that most of us thought SNSD and Girls Generation were two groups and yeah I had the same thought. I thought Jin and Jimin were one person when I first started stanning BTS.
My confession is that I thought Chae-young from Twice was the least pretty member. because I got into Twice because of my brother and he always said that Chae-young was ugly but after I started stanning twice and invested a lot of time into the group I realized that Chae-young, in my opinion, is the prettiest member
6:02 as a dancer I can say: -Girl group are really really good because they make their choreographies looks easy like they are doing nothing but in reality their choreographies are full of details. -Boy groups choreos looks hard because they do big movements while gg do small but detailed movements. -Once I heard someone saying that group line Twice has super easy and even try to learn one of them. If we are talking about choreos like “what is love?” then I agree but other like More&More your arm has to be really really strong or you’ll look bad. -There’s a difference between a hard choreos and intense choreos. -Before you saying anything I will say this: I’m girl who’s been dancing for 12 years now. By this, I can say that dancing in “those days” is not the best but not an excuse to not do some kinds of choreos. -Yes, choreos don’t need to be hard to look good. Like I agree that some choreographies could be better. For example “Pretty Savage” isn’t clearly the best bp choreo, it could have be better but doesn’t necessarily look bad. I wouldn’t change anything about ktl and lovesick girls. Red velvet choreos are really funny to watch and learn Have a good day and stay safe 🌸

Yeah I get that their behavior is disgusting but it’s also disgusting how some will literally say they always thought they were ugly but pretended they were just as beautiful. Sick. I personally care about what that person did and not to throw someone under the bus. Plus I hate when some fans take things too literal just like when someone mentions something that they like.
