I just had one of these installed in my bathroom. It's fantastic! Just about eliminates the need for toilet paper. It's ergonomic. The seat is a few inches higher than that of a standard toilet, making it easier for an older person to sit down and get up. It uses only about 1½ gallons of water per flush. There are several cleaning settings for men and women. It was a bit pricey, but a boon to me in my old age. I bought mine at Home Depot.

I bought my toto washlet 2 years ago.Easy to install - needed to run power from the light switch .Since installation, it has been a dream, never realizing how versatile this unit was. It is the busiest bathroom in the house (4.5 bath house)

My elderly fathers Dr recommended a washlet, he purchased it and it changed his life, I tried it once that’s all it took I ordered one then a second one for the guest bath. now I have all my friends buying them after they try it once that’s all it takes.

Premist\light does not work when you have auto open/close for lid and seat.

My brand new toto neorest rh, bidet doesnt work.
You don’t need the dryer you don’t need the sanitizer you don’t need the hot water just buy a nice $25 one and they work just as good.

You must be young, so here is your reply;). Diarrhea does happen you just eat the wrong thing. Well its a mess in the bowel and on your butt. You have to clean this poop off your butt, there for you need to oscillate and pulsate. There are also time time when you go that the poop is a paste and no matter how much you wipe there still is a film, this is the skid mark on your underwear. You "need deeper" cleaning. If you have Hemorrhoids, this is when your insides decide to take a look out side your body through your butt hole and decide not go back in. This needs to be rinsed off. This toilet does all this don't make comments until you have done a little thinking.;)

Self cleaning wand? Really? Then WHY is ours CLOGGED - just 18 months after install. Called a repairman out and it eventually / again is clogged. Online estimates seem to be in the $100's of dollars. Sorry - but this is very frustrating.
