His parents did die that way, but the only thing that TellTale added was that Falco was the one who ordered their deaths. In the comics, it's usually, that the man was just a random burglar, on a random night, killing random people, and creating the Batman in process. The meaning behind that is, that crime/evil does not choose its sacrifices, they just happen, and we are left to deal with the tragedies/consequences as we see fit (some might cope, some might seek revenge, some might fall into sorrow). *If I am mistaken anywhere, correct me as u see fit or add to the comment.
the whole The Waynes are the biggest gangsters in Gotham" thing is just a storyline they made up for this game specifically. The Batman (2022) took some inspiration from this because Bruce's parents were also corrupt in the movie, but matt reeves did it in a different way but used the same concept.
I always wondered if that was canonical to most batman stories, tbh I liked it a lot so it's surprising to not find it everywhere, but I guess that's good for the continuity of it all.

As she was free falling dozens of feet/stories off of a building , he simply reached out and caught her arm to break her fall. Realistically, her arm would be ripped off or at the very least, would be ripped off the socket from the gravity
