That's a great start! It's all about getting the fundamentals down and then trying to hop up bigger obstacles curbs, ledges or hopping over forgiving obstacles like small cones. Minnesota here too, parking garages work great, find as many as you can in the suburbs. Most you get kicked out, but I've got 4 that security allows it. In the cities, they kick you out instantly though

Some professional Brazilian(cuz I'm from Brazil) got into our school and said someone I didn't remember cuz was boring but cool, and he did some cool tricks in our soccer place, then I started to like bmx, now I watch your cool videos and watch some other cool videos too, especially x games, that is a tournament channel with bmx and skateboards and etc, continue like that cool guy 😎👍
To be honest I’m not in the loop of rideouts too much just BMX jams and there haven’t been many in NYC these past few months. I found out about this the day before but maybe keep an eye on @theorybikes on IG or reach out to them to see if they know anything happening
