I find this is better to do with a silver coin ring.. the ring would clip out in the ring orientation because the vdi is higer than 100 and only be visible on its side because it's less conductive from the side.. so what you do is you tune the ring face into range at 95.. it will still be miles away from reacting to graphite.. ❤❤❤❤
May I ask what the advantage is and was this only intended for your TX-850 or is this intended for all TX-850 detectors to get a better ground balance or to get almost no false signals? What position are both knobs in when you adjust the potentiometer and which direction did you turn it?
I don't know for all but I ordered from two stores and was the same situation, must set up with this trim pot. Tested with granite or ferrite and if not grounding so must open and set up. Which way? Must be different depends how they leave it from manufacturing.
AI says "The typical ferrite number for ground indication in metal detectors is around 40 to 60." .I have bought one and tested ,shows 90-95 on my GX-850 . "Different Ferrite Compositions: There are different types of ferrite materials, and the exact composition can affect the ground phase reading. Some ferrites are specifically formulated for electronic components, while others may be more suitable for testing metal detectors. A ferrite ring or disc used for industrial purposes might give a reading around 60, while a ferrite designed for metal detecting calibration might show 80-85. The ferrite material used in your test and the one referenced online might be different, leading to varying ground phase readings."
Agreed , that's why I use and granite as well. Here ground is about 45 but when is not set up shows 60 and more. TX 850 on default is 83 when you turn on and is something like auto ground balance but if raining on granite must be setup up with this trim pot and will work better. Thanks for your comment
Thank you friend 😊 I know that other people has the same problem whit this detector and I hope to help to solve it 😉 BTW TX-850 is very good detector I like it
I guess the direction is different for everyone, just get a ferrite and try it in one direction, if it doesn't work, turn it to the other side until it stops beeping and you're done. PS when it comes on the detector is set for heavy soil so you just turn it on and start turning the trimpot until it stops beeping and the device is set correctly.
@@HoBByTV_The_King_Detectors les ferrites te situe les bons endroits , c'est pas en eliminant la ferrite que tu passe mieux en zones mineralisées , pour ca faut acheter un deus xp .
At what GB setting should the device be when tuning out graphite? The default?
heavily mineralized soil such as granite

What object can I use to do this there must be a couple of bits I can do it with please????
That's a good info. Amazing job my friend 💪🏻💯

😂😂😂 OK
This is 100% relevant.. thanks.
Hi, in which mode do you calibrate the device? The all metal mode? And gain at 12a clock?
Yes all metal
We are eagerly awaiting the completion of the idx pro professor
Excellent thanks.can I ask what grade of ferrite you used to calibrate the tx850?
I don't know about grade, but granite can also be used. The mineralization numbers on the display for graphite is 84 and for granite 82-83
@HoBByTV_The_King_Detectors big thanks for post I used a clamp on ferrite to calibrate my tx850 definitely works 💪
turn it to clockwise or counterclock wise? thanks

Bang izin nanya kalau tx850 pakai baterai my boring 5400 mah bagus gak?.
Не знам каква е тази батерия 🤔
G2 il ne faut pas eliminer la ferrite .
Are you sure? How will it work on heavily mineralized soils then?

Is it display work?
Good 🎉 👏🏻
