you cant continue a fight the next night in terraria, you have to do it all over again. but nights go like 9,5 minutes so.

Nah fishron is hard especially without icor or if you are a melee class.

As a terraria player, the twins are kinda dissapointing. They are just a reskin of the eye instead of having a unquie attack like they usally do
Yeah I agree, but I don't want to fight an eyeball with fireballs and a flamethrower and an eye with a laser machinegun
It's still a second bossfight, I don't see Feastclops anywhere in Terraria.

I do feel spazmatism and retinazer could've has their close range attacks replaced with a flamethrower and laser gun respectively, But I'd rather have the twins than not.
@@Moss_Dude True and the cross over items are much better in dst than in terraria (with eye bone being an exeption a portable bank is actually a god tier item for me)
the ''boss 1 theme'' is awsome and battle them selfs isn't hard to beat them but in terraria is hard especially the twins battle
Twins are the easiest mech, just build a giant runaway and you win.

I imagine the eye mask could be quite good for Wurt since she can't eat meat so instead just feed it to the eye mask
also unrelated to this milky whites count as dairy so you can get like 5 ice creams every fight
As much as I love the crossover, I can't help but feel dst got the short end of the stick, being mostly reskins with addition of 1 boss with an extra difficulty switch and 2 items that become nullified in the late game. The food is nice, but considering how terraria got a new boss, new weapons, new summons, as well as new vanity items and an entire new world setting, gotta say that Klei could have at least added another terraria item with a unique effect that you could bring with you to late game, maybe something for the portal in the atrium or something to bring to the lunar island after killing the celestial champion
DST also got a new world prefab for both over world and caves
if the new prefab made dst more like terraria that would be cool. I'd even accept a pixelated look of the world

I really which the shadow armor and nights bane played more significance in dst rather than just being reskins of existing items. Havibg the Lights bane and turning it into the nights edge/true nights edge with the shadow atrium would have been amazing.
@@yukioacumora4430 Honestly would've been cool if crafting the Night's Edge was possible(maybe there's areas where the Blade of Grass, Muramasa, and Fiery Greatsword could fit as I'm not well informed on DST, but that feels like the biggest issue)
The new weapons in terraria are technically also sorta nullified in the near end game / end game cause by then, you’d have better equipment.
Would be cooler if the twins actually had unique attacks like they do in terraria, spazmatism should do an AOE attack of cursed flames and retinazer could fire a flurry of lasers in 1 direction, both attacks would have indicators of course.
Of course it would be cool if it was an exact remake but the point of it was for both developers to do their take on each other’s bosses

U cant really do that in dont starve because you cant go up and down or jump

2:44 Actually, you can't continue fights between nights in Terraria. You have to start it all over every time and it's a pain if you're weapon isn't good enough. Continuing boss fights is only a thing with deerclops and occasionally queen bee.

Kind of wish they changed the fight more for The Twins, maybe kept them a little closer to home, but I suppose acid spitting and laser shooting eyeballs might be a little harder to do in don’t starve

Terraria vet here and we didnt get much from your world either. 3 or 4 weapons a new boss and a vanity item for our head. :D So i feel your pain.
wdym we didn't get much, we got a ton, this is not a full feature update like 1.4 and 1.3, it's a smaller update but we still got a lot of stuff
We got a new seed which is essentially a completely new gamemode with hunger and darkness being able to kill you in that seed

i was watching the trailer for terraria/DST crossover while going to this video, i watched the whole thing cuz i enjoyed it
i fought this with my friend who also hasnt played in a year, i instantly died when it did the dashing animation and i got so shocked
I'm a little bit disappointed about twins, because they are just a reskins. You might see some comments like this, but it's true. If they could add at least one simple cursed fireball attack and one simple Lazer attack, it would be enough for me. But, in terraria we only got one boss fight, so yeah (But deerclops in terraria better in my opinion. Also he is better than original deerclops, lol)
i disagree with the needing speed part (for the solo eye) but other than that this SEEms about right.
My fight or flight reflect went crazy when I opened the game for the first time ‘cause I was tabbed out watching other stuff, it literally made me jump and change back to the game

It's suppose to retrofit into older worlds however nuttier things have happened with retrofitting in this game so...?
how about making one of the twins dash away until you lose agro on the other one and take them one by one? is it possible? haven't tried the fight myself yet
Sort of wish twins had some unique attacks in dst, but awesome update nonetheless
really hope klei does justice andd add winter festival version like deerclops, but that would mean it would be something like handeling dragonfly and deerclops at once, so. who knows- definitely a missed opportunity to not include the flamethrower and the death laser. but /shrug

Before i knew of the update i found the terrarium. Problem is, i didnt know what it was so i put it in my base and activated it, i thought it was a pretty light.

Looking cool seeing the eye of terror and other features in don't starve together, i wonder what on terraria is like with don't starve features? I say very pixel and awesome. Also the eye mask look awesome.

Though, if I’m being honest. DST got some of the better side of this crossover in my opinion.

Red caps might be the fuel of these new items, yes.
The rate at which the eye mask is repaired is actually made up of the hunger value of the item x1.75 + the health value of the item x4. So don't go shoving meatballs into the thing unless you have way too much food. Just feed it glommer goop and it'll be instantly repaired every single time. You also don't need a speed boost to dodge the single eye of terror, though it helps of course :D And for my fellow Wes players out there the eye is actually mega easy to dodge with the speed balloon 👌

If you want a more Don't Starve feel for Terraria Beard try out the new The Constant seed, with darkness being death, food needing to be eaten and thats it
And Don't Starve related items have a higher drop chance
Fun fact monster meat is is best thing to use to restore durability

Probably given how we can choose to play seasonal events at will nowadays.
I feel like the twins have been a lil bit wronged here... i kinda hoped they wouldv atleast given them projectiles like in terraria... that should deal almost no dmg but still

It's Dwarf Star summoned by Star Caller's Staff. It's a late game item so I don't think you can't craft it yet.

I wish the twins were more like they were in terraria. If you killed one the other got a lot more difficult and added a new attack.
I mean, apart from the extra attacks thing the second one does technically get harder.
2 months later, but the Twins don't gain an extra attack nor get more difficult if you killed the other one in terraria.

It likely will be come the next update in December but for now it's in all worlds.
It's really funny how you have to put each enemy and item like five times in the thumbnail to fill the screen because of how little content this update actually had.

We aren't entirely sure however I imagine we will be able to select the Terraria content in the world settings even if it does go away just like how we can play the Winters Feast event when it isn't Christmas time.

I said nothing about their health when they return in Terraria. All I said is that you can continue fights if night ends.

DST has a lot of content, yes. Heck, even the solo DS games do and might have even more than DST! The Terraria Crossover does not however, not even close. Terraria got WAY more from it.

The eyes will wreak any amount of followers you bring into their fight. Their charge attacks deal 250 damage each.
