If you do a lot of indoor shooting then the excellent Samyang 35mm f1.8 might be a better choice, but outdoors the tiny unobtrusive f2.8 works great. I find at f2.8 it only requires minimal sharpening compared to brighter lenses - I use 42MP camera BTW. Second hand you can pick this lens up for around £150
Thanks a lot for watching Andrea! I started with a kit lens but eventually I moved to prime lenses for the extra sharpness and the open apertures. All and all I think everyone should include prime lenses in their arsenals regardless of their stage! 👍
Thanks a lot Jay!I don't usually go on photo walks with other people but I wouldn't mind the company. However, I just moved out of Leicester so it will be quite a while until I have another photo walk in Leicester.
Thank you all for watching! Would you consider this lens for street photography?

Aha. Always the wider Aperture help in low light conditions. I will keep the lens in mind since it is a budget one!👍
Very detailed yet not too much as well. Absolutely loved it, Thank you!
Very glad you liked it Samantha! Thanks a lot for watching!
Thank you Aris for your explaining of this lens.Do you recommend a prime lens for a beginner or a zoom lens?
