I own a 2017 F-Pace 35T Prestige, it has over 125,000km on it now (78,000 miles). 3.0L V6 supercharged gas. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and it has seen 3 hard winters, the AWD works just fine in the worst of our snow storms. No mechanical issues whatsoever, just regular maintenance. It is not fuel efficient unless you really try to drive it easy. Dynamic mode, combined with the S gear makes a whole lot of power and is very tempting to use which causes the fuel to disappear very fast. Tank runs maybe 500-600km (310-375 miles) with my driving habits.
@@Thefutureofsuccessbootygang I bought mine at 45k miles from a ford dealership after trading my truck in and it was perfect. Keep in mind that this vehicle starts to lose its resale value pretty hard after 100k, so take care of it and plan on keeping it around to get your moneys worth out of it.
@@andrewcurrie5487same here… F-Pace S 2019… and I got it a good bargain. The reviews on the entertainment system/Nav was great but I find it no issue other than its complexity. I am in Calgary so I will find out how it handles. I just love the car… just tops!
Just got a 2019 SVR. I never thought I would own an SUV, but this drives like a saloon, feels much more connected to the road than my 23 year old XJ that I part exchanged for it. You feel the bumps a little more, it doesn't wallow as much. Don't listen to the comments about "not a fun car to drive". Explosive acceleration always brings a grin to my face when I floor it, and the V8 sound is superb. The seats are really comfortable as well. With 542 bhp it's got better fuel economy than my old 240 hp XJ. The power is more instantaneous with the supercharger than 4L turbo competitors, and the exhaust sound is just on another level compared with competing 6 cylinder cars like the Stelvio quadrifoglio and BMW X3M.
I have an S model. It's very fun and engaging to drive with the supercharged gasoline V6. I can't imagine sporty, and "diesel" being used in the same sentence but maybe I haven't driven the right diesel yet!
I was looking for the 3.0 diesel... but these with low mileage still very pricey... Couldn't find the 25D in my price range but did sort a Portfolio 20D... performance... Excellent and in dynamic mode don't think it slow... First time I tried this mode it was mental.
I got a Jag f-pace 3.0 s (2016) this year with 100‘000km. Can’t understand the hate these cars are getting sometimes. It’s great! Wouldn’t recommend for use in the city only.
Almost brought one of these but ended going for a Land Rover Discovery Sport due to the fact it had 7 seats if 7 seats didn’t matter to us would of gone for one of these if found one the same spec as a HSE Dynamic Lux Discovery Sport
*Correction the facelift came out in late 2019 with both the interior and exterior having been changed. There’s another interior facelift in 2021 but nothing exterior wise. Internally in 2019 there was some massive upgrades such as the move from the smaller screen to the bigger 10” one with Apple CarPlay and Android auto
This infotainment system is the upgraded one it’s not what was released with this car it must have been upgraded via a jaguar dealer later as no car prior to 2019 had this system. Land Rover came out with it in 2018 and jaguar adopted it in 2019
jaguar epace is built on steel chassis from evoque, not the alloy chassis from fpace, this makes the epace smaller, heavier, slower and less economical, my f pace is awd portfolio auto 180hp diesel 19 reg which i bought new, unlikely to part with it for a while as with the extras came in at £56,885 otr before fitting ghost and tracker!
For accuracy, E-pace is not built on the F-pace chassis. The E- pace is built on the Evoque platform and although smaller is heavier than the F-pace. Otherwise a good review.
Thank you Stuart, appreciate the feedback. I want to do more just find it hard to get the time with running my business too - will get some more up as soon as poss and keep the chanel alive :-)
Good review overall, and I really love the F-Pace cars . . . I really do, but you kinda made me spit out my coffee when you said "It is the BEST model that Jaguar has ever produced." Really?
Very interesting video I. have just bought a 2017 R Sport Black edition. I need to change to Kilometre speedo, but could not find way to change the digital speedo. Could you show how to do it, or have to take it to a Jaguar garage with a specialise software? The command on the Digital speedo does nut function
Nice car . Can i ask how reliable it has been and mpg ? Worried about the 163hp as its not awd but has snow button but not to sure if this would be suitable on winter days any help advice would be greatful. Thank you
Good review. 👍 Voted worlds best looking car as well when majority of SUV’s are imbalanced awkward to naff. (Do be far more careful with how you one hand steer at 5 o’clock etc when prolonged talking at speed as you could have a very nasty incident where won’t save yourself from it that should)
Yes, Yes, Yes. Jaguar needs a bigger version of this that will compete with Range Rover, Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition, Mercedes Maybach etc. I think it will be a big hit as the F-Pace.
Why are you doing review commentary on the motorway and occasionally looking at the camera. Should you not be concentrating on what you are doing ie driving!
I just saw the accelerator and brake pedals have no rubber on them. Considering how much Jaguar charge for these cars that is so so mean and pitiful. Shame on the management who has let this happen along with a few other bad things which I can't be bothered mentioning. Anyone who can afford it just go for a range rover.
Buy the cheaper models of the F-Pace, they rubber on brake & accelerator pedals. I think the S & SVR version does not have as they are the sporty version.
First video I see from your channel, I came open minded but once you said F pace is the best Jaguar they have ever made, my man... you lost all credibility.
Jaguar fixed their relability issues. Its definitely not they use ingonenium engines m. Range rover evoque uses a ford engine. No bueno. I have the F-Pace and its been excellent besides regular maintenance. Great buy.
Fast forward to 11:00, that’s when he review starts. The rest is just a Jaguar history lesson.

Why not in city only?
People like the look of an SUV... In the F Pace... drivers get the best looking SUV on the road and that includes Macan and Cayenne.
I have the 2018 XF, 2.0T Premium w/out the AWD. The F-Pace is a popular SUV in the USA
The key thing for me is... 'enough room in the rear space for two large dogs.'
We just bought the 2019 3.0 L V6 AWD "S" supercharged petrol version. $33k with only 27,000 miles. Absolutely love it.
Wow that was a steal of a buy
Yeah talk about value! How is it holding up?

I'm currently looking at a 3.0 with 20" wheels... personally I'd prefer the smaller rims with chunkier sidewall tyres.
Really helpful review. Thanks.
Thanks from a 70 year old, going for a blast in the Bentley gt now

Would love to have one now
Buy used, lots of them in the market., Still expensive though as the resale of F-Pace is very good
