Absolutely loved your Murial trip Joe. Great to see many of our past Mighty Whites players inc Gary Speed and one of my favourite Don Revie players Albert Joeanson. My all time favourite player tho is King Billy. I was lucky enough to be at Wembley as a 19 year old to see him lift the FA Cup in 1972. As a young lad I thought Leeds was a great city back in the day when I lived there as a young boy well actually Yeadon but it's part of Leeds City. Leeds people should be proud as punch to have these fantastic muriels in and around our great city. Seeing all those muriels cheered me up no end Joe. Just want to say that my first memory of going into Leeds on the bus with my dear departed mum and dad was seeing the black Prince statue in the city Square as a young 8 year old. And my dear Uncle and Aunt used to live behind the old Peacock on the housing estate there and I remember seeing our old church for the first time as my uncle drove me past it on the way to his house. As a 8 year old lad I had my first goosebumps and still do everytime I come up to Elland Road and see our much loved ground. I remember thinking as a young lad as I was football mad even back then that Leeds Utd would always be my team. Great stuff Joe, Always Leeds and Proud MOT. 💙💛🤍
