Wow you find the overhook side more difficult? I find the underhook side MUCH harder, and I know Lachlan Giles and Dominque Bell also find the underhook side harder. Are you doing something different that others? One thing that I see is that on the overhook side, I normally retract my arm so I can post on my elbow (while keeping the seat belt), which you don't do as much in this video. Maybe you do something similarly different on the underhook side? Thanks!
@@aaronbenzrihembjj6014 Interesting, I tried this again last training and I'm pretty sure you must have some superior details that I don't have. I feel there's two reasons for me why the underhook side is harder. First, I can't post on my elbow on the underhook side, and therefore I can't get my knee as high on my opponent's back (I try to post on my head instead but it's more awkward). Second, when I do the chair sit on the underhook side, my opponent can more easily bridge into me, so that he can kind of launch himself out of the hole in my seatbelt. On the overhook side that's not as easy because my overhook-elbow would be blocking on the top of his shoulder so that he can't bridge out over top of me. I'm not sure if I explained this well enough, but if you ever realize what you're doing to make your underhook side so strong, I'm really curious to know it!
@@maxikozie I think for me I’m extremely comfortable posting on my head and shoulder, more so my shoulder. Because of my hand position it makes this easier on the under hook side. I’m also flexible so I think I’m able to bring my knee higher on that side. I’ll drill it some more this week and see if I come up with any other reasons it’s easier for me
Hope your life off UA-cam is going well. Thank you for making these videos and leaving them here for when i need them. Oss
Nice drill! Can’t wait to try tonight! Oss!
More drills for regular training practice please ..:)
Like it!

I think that’s probably it, I’ve seen Lachlan show it and I was wondering why we felt differently. Maybe it’s just my good side 😆

@@aaronbenzrihembjj6014 awesome! I'll drill it too, and I'll try to post more on my shoulder than my head to see if that makes a difference.
