According to Sutherland, all lift motors for all inmotion adjustable beds are "European Design and engineering": Means, lift motors are "Made in China/Asia" but design and engineered in Europe. Also they state "Assembled in the USA". No difference from other brands like Leggett&Platt/Reverie.
This is a bargain compared to all the adjustable beds I've been researching online and looking at locally. Most bed frame / mattress combos seem to be coming in between $5K and $10K. That is a lot of money for a bed. Also, it is hard to find a split queen as not all manufacturers make this size. I'm definitely going to consider a Southerland. I prefer buying local though, a little skeptical of internet sales for such a big purchase. I'll add this to the top of my list for now.
Thanks for watching my video and commenting. You can definitely get ripped off by a local retailer. However, all companies will rip you off if you buy a mattress with toxic chemicals. Do I need to buy the frame to use the mattress?
